this is the only prom pic I could find. senior year, our pictures were interupted by the ice cream man. I'm second from the right. I bought a super mario ice cream bar.
This. The reception was fine, but the night completely unraveled after the reception ended. Our limo was held up by police for an hour because some dipshit who rode with us (but conveniently left with another limo) left a backpack with beer and marijuana in the limo. Our "after party" involved going to a sketchy-ass Asian karaoke bar in Manhattan. We're fairly certain the other floors functioned as a whorehouse. Oh, and my group was supposed to stay in a beach house on the North Fork of Long Island, but it ended up raining the entire weekend.

Oh, I meant that nothing worth noting happened at mine. The food was pretty good.
Is it common for a school to have separate proms for juniors and seniors? Ours was combined, and the juniors always came up with the theme/location for the seniors. The proms that I went to were rather uneventful and did not live up to the hype, which I kind of figured.
I don't have a single picture from prom I had a friend who was, that friend who takes photos at EVERYTHING Growing up. but it looks like I deleted her from Facebook. Oops, I have a quota I can't exceed. My prom was boring, got drunk and went to a hotel. I think I was too drunk to put out.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

Dang it, Bonz, you're scaring everyone from posting pics. Not everybody skipped right over their awkward duckling phase, okay?! Also, I can't be the only one who's oh so very confused by your naming scheme here. Junior prom freshman year, freshman prom senior year, sophomore prom junior year... I can't keep up.
There's a decent pic of me from my junior prom, but it's in a yearbook back in Boston (no, really, I swear!). Although I do look slightly uncomfortable in the pic, because the tux was my older brother's, and he's a good deal smaller than I am. I had the better judgment to just wear my nicest tie, jacket and chinos for senior prom, but I don't think anyone snapped any snots of me. I think I was avoiding the cam due to the aforementioned corncobs.

Lesson time, folks. This is what prom looked like back in the early 1990's. Be jealous. So very jealous.
Also, I refused to spend money on prom dresses. I couldn't stand that. So the first photo, I borrowed a bridesmaid dress the week before prom. Because it matched my black velvet scrunchie. No freaking lie.

Finding that Prom picture got me to go through my old photos... oh man, what a blast from the past. If I get drunk enough on wine tonight I might post a few.

When I had my third kid, I pumped at work, 3x day, 5 days a week, until he was a year old. While in the spare office, I started scanning my photo albums. I scanned over 9000 photos in those nine months.

I decided to go to my Eighth Grade Dance about ten minutes before it was time to leave, so, not having a dress, I borrowed a bridesmaid dress that my mom had worn in my aunt's wedding. Besides being way too big for me, it makes your borrowed bridesmaid dress look like something out of Vogue.
I went to three proms in high school and also had the same aversion to paying prom-dress money. The dress I wore to prom my junior year, I got at a consignment shop. I actually really loved that dress. The one I wore to both proms my senior year (they were in different states, so it was okay), I got for like $30 at some random store in the mall.
I don't think I had fun at any of my proms. My junior year, I'm pretty sure I cried in the bathroom, but I have no idea why. My senior year ones, I went with the same friend to both and it was just awkward and uncomfortable, and I probably wasn't the nicest person to him (not that I was mean, I was just not into the whole thing, and I think I ended both nights early), and I still feel bad about that when I think of it.

I bought my senior prom dress at Belks on clearance for $30 or so. Borrowed my step mom's glorious jewelry & shoes.
