Oh good Lord. November is STACKED for Atlanta. The first three weeks have Chance The Rapper, Patti Smith, Galactic Lettuce, Shamir, Fuzz, Skylar Spence and Here We Go Magic. Gonna be a fun one!

I knowwww and I'm gonna be too broke to do any of them!! Ughhhhh. I'm going up there for Destroyer in October. I wish I could do Fuzz and Shamir
I'm really torn between Father John Misty and Sufjan Stevens tickets. They're roughly the same price. I enjoy FJM more, but I'm afraid in 10 years I'll really regret missing Sufjan.
Go to Sufjan. I'm sure FJM will tour quite a bit more - who knows when Sufjan will again. And his shows are such an experience that goes beyond the scope of just music.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

Slipknot at SPAC on Friday . Love the high volume of anarchy and chaos going on . I'd have to compare this show to a demolition derby high dagree of violence with just enough screamig to completely turn a concert into a hocky game . Gotta live it .

Yeah, Imagine Dragons being on that card is odd. They will help move tickets I suppose.
Regret not going last year in Raleigh. Already had tickets to Lockn, and didn't want be on the road two weeks in a row. The more I think about it, would have been worth it.

I love when groups announce tour dates and there are none very close to me and I get a bit bummed and THEN I remember they're playing a fest I'm going to and I see the festival in the tour dates.

Oh course the only STS9 show near me is the day that I'll be leaving for Hulaween. At least I'll get to see them there, but damnit I really wanna see them in a non-festival setting. This same thing happened during roo. Spoon, War on Drugs and Rhiannon Giddeons all played cincy while I was at roo.

She was AMAZING at Buku Music Project this year, and that was before her album dropped. If she is in your city, I recommend seeing her. It'll probably be a very inexpensive show on top of that.

My buddy that lives in Tucson is pissed! ha I'm glad Mastodon isn't following them to Canada though otherwise we wouldn't get that NOLA Halloween show.
these shows are free and the exact locations will be announced later. again, i'm bummed this isn't coming near me. go to this link to rsvp to find out more details.
SERIOUSLY considering that Jason Isbell/Hiss Golden Messenger show in Charleston for my birthday. What say you sang_xcx & custeph? Is that something on your radar?
Thinking about the fest with Isbell, Strand Of Oaks, Natalie Prass and tba in Atl. But really hoping some of them play Fall For Greenville the weekend before that.

For those of you that are close to Asheville. Leaf is doing a free two day thing that looks like fun. Lineup includes Bootsy Collins' Rubber Band, Red Baraat, Dangermuffin, Sister Sparrow, The Main Squeeze, and The London Souls. Full Lineup and schedule here. Also an afterparty at the Asheville Music Hall.
I'm seeing Faith No More and Refused tomorrow! Both for the first time!
How was it? Im seeing both tonight in Philly. I saw Faith No More a few years ago on their first reunion tour here and they were amazing. Mike patton climbed a ladder above the stage about 20-30 feet and sang just a man from it and the entire time I thought I was going to watch him die on stage because he wasn't hanging on that well so I'm expecting a pretty great show tonight too
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round
food truck festival tonight with robert randolph and the family band playing for free. i'm planning to dance away all the carbs i'll be inhaling from the grilled cheese/mac and cheese/pierogi trucks. tomorrow is one direction at heinz field. wishing someone would drop us off/pick us up so i could make good use of all of the cider in my fridge. jumping around to 1d and falling from the top of the stadium to my death sounds like a good way to go.

Got two tickets to Smashing Pumpkins and Manson in Philly tomorrow and its not looking good for me making it. If anyone is interested in the tickets, they were pretty expensive cause they are like 8 rows back but im willing to do a deal for the pair. PM me if you are interested!
E: Its actually in NJ at Susquehanna bank center but I consider right over the water the same thing since im from MD and dont visit much.

It was great. The Real Thing is probably the cd that I've owned the longest without seeing the band live. They didn't disappoint at all.
