I am not sure I really want to go to Radiohead this year the show in 06 was so good I have a feeling watching them play a short festival set of their newer stuff is just going to be underwhelming.
Really? I would bet money we get the same 90 minute set they play on tour, I would love to be wrong but I am not getting my hopes up. For the past two years except for Sunday the headliners have been playing 90 minute shows on Friday and Saturday. Stevie, KOL, Arcade Fire, Eminem, all played for about that each.
We will know more after the tour opener and we can see what the tour setlist is like.
There really is no way to know until they play a show. Didn't Thom say in a interview that they would be mainly focusing on In Rainbows, and KOL?
And I know you threw in a half-hearted "we will know more after the first to stop, but these posts are pretty cut and dry. You thought wrong, just admit it.
Dude the show last night was 1 hour and 45 minutes long counting encore breaks. Like I said I was off by 15 minutes, also that was not half hearted it was exactly what I meant. Now we know more they are playing a 1:45 minute set with a lot of new stuff and a few hits.

Says who? First you said it was 1:50 now it's shrunk to 1:45. According to my clock and the tweets getting sent out they went on at 8:49 and came off the stage at 10:51. Granted that's not the most accurate source of information but I'd like to know where you're getting these fluctuating times from, and how the length of the set they've already played is somehow changing from last night

I really love this quote so I'm going to respond to it a second time.
By this logic I would have never seen My Morning Jacket after their Roo 2008 show. Believe me my friend, if Radiohead is as good as you all say they will be able to create another great experience.

You realize this doesn't really even mean anything right? It doesn't change your previous opinion that the show would be 90 minutes and the same setlist.
Watching Jess try to argue with people hurts my head even when I'm not involved at all. You said over and over again that you thought because of that interview they were going to do TKOL, IR, and a few hits. They played two new songs, Meeting in the god damned Aisle (far from a "hit," more like a really obscure deep OKC cut), and many other rare gets these days ("Kid A," "You and Whose Army").
You said it would be TKOL/IR with hits sprinkled in. The set was 24 songs. 7 of those were TKOL, 4 were from In Rainbows. So, less than half of the set was made up of those two albums. You were wrong, just admit it. It's not even a big deal that you were wrong, you were wrong about something that nobody could really know about, that you just speculated incorrectly about. Their set was almost two hours, which may have been longer if the venue didn't have a 10:30 curfew.
It's just silly to me that you are so stubborn about something so insignificant.

Heading to St. Louis next Saturday and I can honestly say I don't think I've been more excited for a show then I am right now. I just wish the band felt better about Hail to the Thief because that's honestly one of my favorite albums.
You'd better get here next Friday, my friend, or you will be severely disappointed.

My favorite part about In Rainbows is when I'm like " oh this is my favorite song on the album" then the next track comes on and i go "oh no wait this one is" and that keeps happening until its done playing
