Funny, I think that of the posters on this board who've been around more than a couple months, many more would ascribe the label "troll" to your behavior of late than of anything I've done. I antagonize (OFTEN AND WITH GREAT RELISH), but it's generally within the context of an actual opinion of substance. Or maybe I've been the one spamming threads with pictures of washed up 80's pop stars, I don't know. Sometimes I get confused.
I will admit the irony in watching people who purposefully try and ruin a thread squeal when it happens to them is pretty enjoyable. Also for the record I was not the one who started spamming threads with pictures of washed up 80's pop stars. They have a point though antagonizing people is a little bit fun. Honestly though I was just seeing how thin their skin was, it is always funny when people who like to dish it out, don't really have the ability to take it themselves.
Gentlemen, it seems your intriguing debate as to who is the bigger troll or who is better at antagonizing is not going to end anytime this century. Nor does it have anything to do with Radiohead 2012, the hair styles of Radiohead or anything close to either of those subjects. Could you kindly take this conversation to PM?
Yet it is in this loneliness that the deepest activities begin. It is here that you discover act without motion, labor that is profound repose, vision in obscurity, and, beyond all desire, a fulfillment whose limits extend to infinity.

There was a quote from one of the members saying it was gonna be less of a "greatest hits" show, but members of Radiohead have also been quoted saying that their newer music was going to be "mostly orchestral" and also that they "probably were never going to make a full length album ever again" so I really wouldn't take anything they say in an interview too much to heart.
Like I said before. Also, when was the last time the top billed act at the festival played a 90 minute set?

Ummm last year, and the year before.......... What are you getting at?

Oh actually I am mistaken for some reason I was remembering that Eminem played for two hours, but in 2010 DMB played from 9-11:30 so we're both wrong on that. But my original point still stands that I wouldn't put too much faith in that Thom Yorke quote that you read, and I will be willing to wager that they will be playing at least a two hour set.
Folks, Superfly would never have brought them back to play sets like the Roselands........check the setlist from 2/14. It might not ne 2006 but it's going to be wonderful.
Really? I would bet money we get the same 90 minute set they play on tour, I would love to be wrong but I am not getting my hopes up. For the past two years except for Sunday the headliners have been playing 90 minute shows on Friday and Saturday. Stevie, KOL, Arcade Fire, Eminem, all played for about that each.
We will know more after the tour opener and we can see what the tour setlist is like.
Arcade Fire, Eminem, KoL have always played 90 minute sets though.
Radiohead has nothing to do with any of those people anyway.

that setlist is fake, their tour doesn't start until the end of the month.

All I have ever said is that I think we will get the tour set they do, and in a couple of weeks we will have an idea of what the Bonnaroo set will be like. Maybe a extended encore, but not a monster set of hits.
I actually do understand that I am in the minority because I really only like the older stuff, and I am honestly bummed about the fact that will probably be getting a set of the newer stuff. I feel the same way about RHCP. I went in to the 06 show literally only being familiar with Creep and had my mind blown by what they did.

I promise you that if you give that show a chance, it will blow your mind all over again.

I don't think you're in the minority liking the old stuff better than King of Limbs.
As others have said though, the 90 minute sets at Roseland aren't really indicative of what this tour will be like. Those were separate. So we will see.

That was in my first post, I guess I am just being pessimistic rather than optimistic about it. Also it makes it easier to stomach the fact that I am a single dad and can not go to the ATL show on a school night.
Edit
also I am in the minority, because I do not like KOL at all really, and In Rainbows just barely makes the ok list for me. Still I think MC has decent music taste ans as far as I know he is the only regular poster who saw the Roseland shows, so maybe it is a whole lot better live. I am curious to see what Nature Boy Thinks about the ATL show, our tastes do not always align, but he does have a good idea of what I like.

I can't speak for the rest of these plebes, but I plan on watching this show stage side with a fine glass of bourbon, chatting amicably with the other invited guests of the Greenwood family.
