I got the e-mail, yes. BUT, it also says that it's not a confirmation that my payment went through. The e-mail states: "For the avoidance of doubt please check your bank/card statement following your transaction to be certain whether or not your payment has been successful. Any transaction that results in a charge back or payment dispute will be cancelled. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have sufficient funds in your account to pay for the tickets. If your transaction hasn't been processed within 24 hours, contact Seetickets immediately. "
It ran a check on my card before it went through. But I did just check my card online that I used and it is not on there yet.
It ran the check on my card, too. But it makes me a feel a bit better that yours isn't showing up either. Maybe it just takes a bit for it to reflect? I dunno.
Call the bank, see if it went through. If it didn't, call See and have them run the transaction again. I had to do this in 2011... it all looked like it went through, but in reality it didn't. Caught it at the last second.
Still not showing as a transaction I'm paranoid. I've just sent an inquiry to SEE tickets.
Nevermind, just called my credit card company. After a furious button-pressing session and dude assured me IT'S ALL GOOD and the payment went through. It's just not reflecting on my online statement or when I call to get the automated information.
Yay! Looks like we are all officially going now. This is a real thing that is happening!
Now back to important tasks. Reading back through the thread and looking at a calendar, I think the night of Monday June 24 might work out the best for all of us if we want to attempt this pub crawl/international incident.
Plan is to fly on Monday, at Heathrow Tuesday morning. Rent a car, drive to Shepton Mallet, go to Tesco to stock up for the festival (boxed wine, whiskey and plastic bottles to decant the gin), off to the B&B, get drunk, sleep and drive to the site around 3-6am.
BTW, while in Somerset... stay away from (too) much perry - tastes good but if you have too much, be ready to spend considerable amount of time at the longdrops, or at the very minimum, stock up on Imodium.
If I can, and at the moment I can't see why not - I will be up for a few jars! It will be great to meet up with you all? Did I meet any of you at the Brunch last year at at the beer tent meet?

We will have to make sure to do some sort of meet up on the festival site as well, if everyone is arriving on Wednesday then maybe some time Wednesday night before everything properly kicks off would be a good time.

YAY! I was also at the brunch last year, but I don't think I met you? Nonetheless, it will be great to meet you in your hometown! You will have to find some good pubs for us to visit.
My tax return should be on its way soon, and then I will buy some good hiking boots!

I'm staying at Best Western The Cromwell in Kensington. Just south of Hyde Park
I looked over the Rumours list on the efestivals site. I am familiar with 10 acts. The rest I have never heard of.
Here are some very brief primers on things you should pay attention to:
- Arctic Monkey (alternative/hard rock) - Dizzee Rascal (garage/hip-hop) - Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds (Oasis, but not) - Rustie (superb maximalist EDM artist) - The Rolling Stones (old people) - Wiley (garage/grime/hip-hop) - Radiohead (sad face music) - Lady Gaga (woman with a baby name) - Munson & Friends (a/k/a/ Dexys Midnight Runners 2K13) - Chic feat. Nile Rodgers (disco pop but maybe zomg stealth daft punk show) - Aphex Twin (scary EDM, his videos give me nightmares) - Nas (rappity rap) - AlunaGeorge (no idea, probably some weird bleep bloops since NoD likes it) - Disclosure (minimalist garage/EDM or something, sounds like SBTRKT) - Alt-J (sounds like Adam Sander) - Atoms for Peace (like Radiohead's last album, only more bleepy bloopy) - Billy Bragg (folkish) - Chase & Status (stupid name) - Django Django (british guys trying too hard to be retro) - Fatboy Slim (RIGHT ABOUT NOW THE FUNK SOUL BROTHER) - FOALS (best band you don't listen to) - Frightened Rabbit (second best band you don't listen to, they might be depressive alkies though) - Groove Armada (disco trash) - John Lee Hooker (old guy) - Johnny Marr (that guy that isnt Morrissey) - Magnetic Man (dubsteps wubwubwubwubwubwubWHOMPWHOMPWHOMP) - Rodriguez (people care too much now) - Tame Impala (american guys trying too hard to be retro) - Tegan & Sara (I always thought they were a lesbian couple but I guess they're sisters so oops) - The National (dour face music) - The Proclaimers (I WOULD WALK 500 MILES AND I WOULD WALK 500 MORE) - The xx (sleepytime music)
- Chic feat. Nile Rodgers (disco pop but maybe zomg stealth daft punk show) - Aphex Twin (scary EDM, his videos give me nightmares)

Druid- Very nice!!! They still play some but I don't think they hit the USA very often. Brainticket did some tour in the northeast a couple of years back too.
I've got like 4 Hawkwind vinyls, just scored Astounding Sounds last weekend.
