MGMT is horrible live and deadmau5 hasn't changed his set in almost 2 years, he doesn't even do anything interesting live. He plays songs with boring transitions and has a cool light show. Thats it. They would both be absolutely terrible.
Explosions in the Sky (after this years show I don't see how they don't get a LN) bring back MSTRKRFT and DFA1979 and have them play back to back in a tent. The Hot Chip-Cut Copy tent would be amazing. Dethklok
I would love to catch mstrkrft there again, and also think Ludacris would be a nice late night show. Ratatat could come back and I'd be fine with that. I liked the previous superjams late night as well.
"I never bought into the Native American mythology. You can smoke a peace pipe 'til your dick falls off, but I'm not dancin' with any fuckin' wolves no matter how high I get. Not that I get high, but if I did, my shit would still believe in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ." -kenny powers
The Chemical Brothers Basement Jaxx Furthur (or as a headliner) The Roots Earth Wind & Fire (because it would be awesome) Daft Punk (duh) Massive Attack Trey Anastasio Band MGMT Clinton & P-Funk Warren Haynes Band or Gov't Mule Passion Pit Dr. Dre (duh) Lauryn Hill

The "cool light show" isn't interesting live? Coolest fuckin light show short of Daft Punk IMO. And while I can appreciate his music a little bit I do agree most of it is boring and repetitive And I don't want him back anytime this soon. He's all over the place. And he's become TOO big. He's preheadlining at lollapalooza for christ sake. I guarantee he'd occupy a late night which slot at this point. Let's PLEASE not waste our coveted late night which slot on deadmau5
I'm totally down though for for DFA or Dethklok though
Or I'd settle for Mos Def. I'm so bummed it didn't happen this year, even more since Lil Wayne and Eminem sucked, imo. Other hip-hop that would be cool LN: Snoop, The Roots, or members of Wu Tang.
Other genres: Wilco, moe, Black Joe Lewis (it's killing me that I missed them Saturday), Budos Band, Yonder Mountain, Ben Harper, Phoenix, Broken Social Scene, Robert Randolph, Derek Trucks, Galactic, New Mastersounds, Gary Clark Jr, Rodrigo y Gabriela, or Trey Anastasio (not Phish!)
And I know it's not gonna happen...but String Cheese again! I'm still riding a musical high from saturday night

Aphex Orbital (reunion) The Orb Ladytron Richie Hawtin Venetian Snares Bamboo Forest Flux Pavilion (if the dubstep fad hasn't passed by then) Paul Van Dyk Ministry
^THIS He would have a latenight tent in my dream lineup for sure. I was going to add him to my list but I really just could never imagine it happening. He's a little intense for a general audience, and he's not popular enough or a big enough draw.
I'm just imagining a crowd of casual festival goers showing up early to see some other show afterwards like STS9 or Ratatat and being bombarded by something like this
MGMT Foster The People The Kills Wilco (They can do 3 hours) Love to see MMJ back for a LN Local Natives (Currently in studio) Umphrey's Mcgee Edward Sharpe
All I want at roo this year is The Shi.t Robot Show. LN would be so perfect... they absolutely killed the place when I saw them open for LCD Soundsystem at Terminal 5 in NYC. So many people were talking about it afterwards, and people were dancing just as hard as during the main act.
The best part is the visuals. They actually work great on a large stage, and I have no doubts that it would work great in a tent
