Druid this isn't the first time you've suggested incestual relations. I wish i could find it, but I know you have suggested cousins getting down also. I'm guessing you have awkward family reunions.

Loving this show... can't believe the season is over already and now have to wait until next year to find out what's gonna happen. I hate season ending cliff-hangers.

I just watched the finale, I thought it was pretty good, very true to the books with a couple of minor differences. I am interested in the next season a lot more than the first, there is a lot of important stuff that will be going on.
Might have to get the books. Totally hooked. Same deal with the Borgias.. I Hate how they spring the fact that its the last season show on you then say see you in 2012.

^So I meant two weeks, and trust me waiting a year on GRRM is neothing. He finished the last book in 2006 and promised the sequel/companion within a year. It gets released on the 12th, read the books slow people.
I <3 this series. Every time people at work start talking about True Blood, I ask excited "HaveYouSeenGameofThronesYet?" and they all say "No." And I sulk off feeling alone and sad. BTW-I don't have HBO or any cable at all. Just Netflix and a Transmission bittorrent client.
My favorite character is Arya. I'm reading the first book now, there is no way I'm waiting until next year to find out what these characters are up to. I find Sansa annoying, but I have a feeling she's going to redeem herself in the end. I'm rooting for all the Stark children.
I'm glad I found this thread. I was reading on the boards on IMDB, but there are spoilers around every corner. If you have some time to kill though... go there and read all the hilarious posts about the breastfeeding scene.
OK, So I just found out last week that we have had all these movie channels at my house for several months and I have not known it. I just don't watch TV. Netflix satisfies whatever sit still and veg in front of a screen urges that I might periodically get.
Sooooo....now that I DO have access to all of these premium channels, there are so many shows on them that get discussed on the boards...I'm somewhat overwhelmed with my available choices.
Would you all say that this is one of the best things on TV now? If not, what is?
saw the panel at comic con, george rr martin was the moderator. didn't realize they had quite the following. heard people were in line for up to four hours and didn't get in the room.
when asked if he mourned any of his characters after he killed them, martin said "all of them, but it keeps it interesting". haha. the cast was very charismatic and outgoing. they laughed a lot and joked with the audience.
HBO gave us pretty sweet swag: a tshirt, mouse pad, bag and the first book in the series.
