A friend of mine just decided to join us on this great adventure. However, the tickets are sold out. Should I tell him to come and just buy a ticket from someone with an extra? Will there really be some to buy, or a counterfit problem? I just don't want to ruin this for him.
You're taking a slight risk by going w/out a ticket but the risk is really just slight. There will extras down near the site, I don't know how much you'll have to pay but I know from previous experiences and such there are always people with extras that try to unload outside the gate.
As for counterfiting* -- there won't be any, just make sure the ticket has the foil in it.

There are lots of people selling extra tickets on the listserve. Most are going for about $100. You can sign up for the listserve from the Bonnaroo website. Most people selling them on there are also willing to over night them to you. Good luck!
Bonnaroo is sold out and the prices on E-bay have shotup singles were going for about $100 + now as high as $200 but will probably fall very fast after tommorow
