I sort of have this feeling that Bonnaroo wont happen this year because of the crazy things going on in our world. I really really really really really really really hope that im wrong but if any of you follow world events you know things are changing at a RAPID pace..
I had Bonnaroo on my bucket list and everything inside me is telling me to do as much as i possibly can as fast as I can. I have a few of the things I want to do crossed off and many more to go.
I want to see the farm and all you amazing people.
please no hate.. its not what the world needs at times like this..

Uprising in Egypt and other middle eastern countries, large protest here in (WI) America, We are spending money like there is no tomorrow. The planet just had one of its worst earthquakes, followed by a tsunami, and some nuclear meltdown might be waiting for any survivors, and now the sky is falling. Yes you are right, but a wise man once told me:

where's the picture of the little kid that i can adopt for pennies a day??
He's like you made an über troll by taking the worst parts of me (the utter disregard for other people's opinions), Phi (cluttering up threads with memes and adding nothing to a discussion) and Jess (an apparent belief that everyone else is the problem and/or arrogance without self awareness).
An escalator can never break: it can only become stairs. You should never see an Escalator Temporarily Out Of Order sign, just Escalator Temporarily Stairs. Sorry for the convenience. -Mitch Hedberg
It may be a bit tumultuous right now. But look at the big picture: 526: Earthquake kills over 250,000. 1556: Earthquakes in China kills over 800,000. 1860s: Over 600,000 American deaths. 1887: Floods in China kill over a million. 1910s: Over 10 million combat deaths. 1931: Floods in China kill millions. 1930s-40s: Hitler and Stalin murder over 30 million people. 1950s-60s: Ze-Dong murders over 50 million Chinese. 1970: Cyclone kills half a million in current Bangladesh. 1976: Earthquake kills ~500,000 in China. 2001: Al Qaeda kills over 3000 civilians.
I think the biggest difference between now and any other point in history is that we have more information. Our problems aren't to be taken lightly, but the sky isn't falling any faster than it ever has before.

The best advice I can give you is stop worrying, start living, and want what you have.

Ahh, rational perspective. People forget that things have been way worse in the past but the internet and 24 hour media glorify everything to make it seem as though the world is crumbling.
And as others said, if its going to happen you can't stop it so you might as well be somewhere enjoying the shiz outta yourself.

Music fuels us as we continue to conquer the battlefields of boredom and artistic freedom.
