My buddy and I will be relying on the kindness of VIP strangers for some things, as we are coming in from Canada. Totally willing to share what we have in return and like every year looking forward to meeting and getting to know great people on the farm
We'll be the guys in Blue Jays hats, see you there Chrismajor
I think Charlie Sheen should introduce everyone to the VIP lifestyle.
Whores and coke? No thank you. I'll stick with A/C bathrooms and a shorter walk.
See now what I had meant was, Charlie Sheen should be the guest comedian. He could probably come up with a good 5 minutes of material about being "VIP", then he could smoke a rock right on stage, and talk about his tiger blood.
Scrog as long as the ride is fun who gives o poop how big it is. Add to that a coked up whore isnt going to be that big anyway besides its even more hularious to watch if you let them jones for awhile first. Now onto this Tiggers Blood dont know if I want to drink it or watch the coke whore drink it.
^^^ Before now all this talk about VIP was just talk about a good time, but a coked up whore drinking tiger's blood, fuck, now we got a PARTY!
theshining, I could be wrong, which means I probably am, but I think the "winning" Charlie Sheen speaks of is the kind of thing you can not teach. It is like being gay, you don't choose that, you are born that way. I do not think you can teach someone to be a winner like Charlie, I think you are just born that way, born a winner.
My other choice for who I would like to see play VIP, would have to be Pearl Jam. (I know they are not on the line-up, but they should be)
So all those winners of the mega millions lottery are born winners or did they just get lucky? Or were they just in the right spot at the right time? Or was it all due to the TIGERS BLOOD and the COKED up WHORE? Just think of the possabilitys. And I still want PHISH.
Not all Mega Million winners are born winners. Some are now broke, some are now dead, and some are doing okay. Not all born winners. Some may have walked through a fart left by born winner and in turn being blessed with some luck for a few minutes, so I guess they were in the right place right time. Now, Joan R. Ginther, from Texas, has won the lottery four times, she's a born winner! I would have to investigate lottery winners on a case-by-case basis to determine if they are born winners or not.
*Like most of my post, I am completely talking out my ass on this.*
The insert that came with the ticket package states that the VIP party starts at 7:30 and entertainment starts at 8:30. Also "they will start serving food "earlier if you would like to beat the crowd" but no time is given for that.
In a bonnaroo.com thread 1-2 wks ago, Gary Chardonnay mentioned the Thurs nite VIP band would "be announced in the next few weeks." They've never announced the performers in advance, but wondering if they will this year?
It's the New Orleans All-Stars. Per the email just sent:
This year's VIP band will be the 'New Orleans Allstars' marking their first ever performance. This Supergroup, comprised of some this country's finest musicians, will feature Jamie McLean, Ivan Neville, Terrence Higgins and Kirk Joseph. The members have worked together in various settings both in and out of New Orleans but their set at Bonnaroo 2011 will be their collective debut. The band will bring their patented New Orleans funk, swamp and soul gumbo to the stage. With standout vocals atop blazing guitar, funky keys and the dirtiest rhythm section in The Big Easy, the "New Orleans All-Stars" the will kick the party off in unforgettable style.
