Headstash's Take: Say what you will about Bonnaroo, it basically spawned the modern festival scene today. What started as a jam-heavy festival has evolved into a more mainstream, catchall event with artists from Phish and Dave Matthews to Kanye West and Metallica. It’s big, it’s over-the-top and it’s a monstrous amount of music. Entering it’s tenth year, Bonnaroo continues to grow and grab the admiration – and ire – of music lovers.
I love the way they feel they have to defend Bonnaroo.
Music fuels us as we continue to conquer the battlefields of boredom and artistic freedom.
