I'm thinking Paul Simon, too. That would fit with the lower expectations concept, but it would be quite awesome in light of what we know about Friday. Still hoping for Neil first and foremost.
I'm genuinely happy that so many people are excited to see Arcade Fire. Seems like they've made quite an impression on a lot of people. I wish I didn't *hate* everything I've listened to of theirs. It'll let me rest up before MMJ, though
Just go to their show and let us know how you feel afterwards.

this is how i feel too.
also, if its eminem saturday please at least let it be with Dr. Dre. solo i think that would be a pretty lackluster performance...
im trying really hard not to get my hopes up for OutKast right now but its very difficult
I think Saturday will still have a big headliner. I just took the lower your expectations to mean for people to stop expecting Radiohead/Prince/Daft Punk etc. Im still thinking Mccartney or The Stones for Saturday night.
-When I Hear My Name -Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground -Blue Orchid -Passive Manipulation -Red Rain -Death Letter -My Doorbell -Hotel Yorba -Same Boy You've Always Known -Lovesick -Little Ghost -We're Going to Be Friends -The Hardest Button to Button -Black Math -The Nurse -I Just Don't Know What to Do With Myself
Encore: -Ball and Biscuit -Seven Nation Army -Screwdriver
It's important to note that Bonnaroo is missing a mainstream headliner right now. I think that might narrow down the possibilities for Saturday night.
What do you mean by "mainstream"? Arcade Fire debuted at #1 on the Billboard, I know that doesn't mean that much these days, but I remember the number being pretty large. They've been riding a HUGE wave of popularity in the last few months. I'd go as far to say that they might be the biggest band in the world at the moment.
Then again, Eminem did have the biggest selling album last year, so I might not know what I'm talking about But, Kanye had the most talked about album...
Arcade Fire are the whores of the festival scene this year. WSP and Robert Plant has already happened. If Roo doesn't bring a really stacked under card and/or a Great Saturday act, then I will have no trouble skipping this year.
Arcade Fire will likely get a longer set then some other festivals. Also, it's the first time they are playing Roo and it will be amazing to see them and MMJ in the same night.
WSP already happened, that's true but like others said - it's their 25th year and it's roo's 10th year and even tho I'm not a huge fan i'm not upset by this.
Plant happened with Allison Krauss......the band of joy stuff is different so I don't see how you can act like they're the same.

I'll definitely be there. Certainly wouldn't be the first time I've eaten my words after seeing someone live.

Please god, I've been relatively open minded and kept my expectations low.. and I don't even mind WSP closing out Sunday.. but Black Eyed Peas would just suck.
