I guess if you have enough money you really can buy separate justice here in America. They are not charging this guy with a felony EXPLICITLY BECAUSE of how much money he makes and manages. I wonder if I would get the same latitude?
hell, everybody needs a get out of jail free card, I got about 3.
Its funny thought, just recently, in louisville ky, my cousin was headed to lunch, he was sitting at a stop sign, about to turn on to a one way street, he looked the direction that traffic would have been coming, started to pull out, and a drunk homeless man riding a bicycle down the street ran into the side of his car, flips up and over the hood, and hit the ground on the other side. He suffered a grade 3 concussion, a broken shoulder, hip and wrist. Now my cousin was cleared from any wrong doing, but he is scared this guy will lawyer up and go after some money.
People that tell you one thing and then do another.
This should probably go in the Grrrr thread but whatever. I'm pissed right now. This guy pretends to be my friend on my blog. He tells me that he has arthritis and won't be online for a couple weeks. I email him and tell him that I'm sorry about his arthritis and ask him if he wants the list I made of related websites. He doesn't email me back. I figure that it's his medical problem so he can't check his email. The next day, I see him on a message board posting all kind of comments. WTF! He's been posting everywhere lately and it doesn't look like he has arthritis. The worst part is that I'm trying to win an Amazon gift card in a contest. The person who makes the most forum posts wins. I'm in second place and guess who's in first - this idiot who lied to me. Ugh! I seriously want to spam this guy's email but I'm going to resist for now. It makes me so mad that he told me that he wasn't going to be online and now he's everywhere posting a ton of comments.
when you're at a movie, and at the end of the movie when the credits start rolling and someone just says the name of the movie.
i hate that.
I don't know what that means. I've never experienced that.
LMAO. I can't imagine a situation in which...why would...
I don't get it, either. I find this funny because the way he described it, I imagine someone getting up out of their seat after the movie, spreading their arms wide, and screaming the name of the movie (like "INCEPTIOOOOOOOOOOON!!!!!").
when your in the checkout lane at the grocery store and the guy behind you is listening to music on his mp3 or whatever the hell it was without the headphones plugged in. the worst part was the headphones were around his neck. i think the fact that i had to tell this guy to plug in his headphones angered me more than anything
hot-tempered, ill-mannered, smart-assed quackin' Inforooster n00bs who do nothing but b!tch & moan in threads, thus displaying their utter lack of respect for other members *AND* their appalling cluelessness about how to be a decent human being.
srsly. IDK why the Karma Fairy doesn't smite them, then they can whine together, "oh FML." Waaaah. STFU, brats.
My friend has been getting the run around from them for over a month. The other day they came to my door to try and convince me to switch to them as my cable provider and I said that I wouldn't due to their poor customer service. (I have a very low tolerance for crappy service.)
when you're at a restaurant, and at the end of the meal when they pay their check and stand up to leave and someone just says the name of their entree.

Actually in that vein I hate going to a nice restaurant with 2 or three other couples then them putting the 18% gratuity on all the different checks. Honestly I always tip more than that, but if they think I am a deadbeat or going to stiff them then they can be happy with what they put on there.
Agreed, or you can leave cash for less, and run like hell... Did that once, simply because I wasn't about to give that bitch $27 dollars. My bill was $150 + tax and gratuity, it came out to like $192.
I left 170 bucks on the table, and walked out of there like there was a fire in the kitchen.
Normally, I tip really good (20% +), but this waitress didn't come take our drink orders for more than 10 minutes, only refilled my drink twice (i was without a drink for 90% of the evening), and then rolled her eyes at me when I complained about my food being cold. She is lucky i didn't punt her in her FUPA.
