I was in pod 1.. it was my first roo and it was amazing!!! Heat sucked but hey its life. We arrived at like 530 am and we got parked back in the middle of no where... All i got to say is WOOGIE raged it
It was my first roo and camped in Camp Jaws about 7 to 10 places from the food vendors. If any of you were in the same area and got stuck in that mud there's a real possibility you saw me. I helped push 4 or 5 cars out of the mud. TTTOOOOO much fun. We had the ever changing campsite.
I had the happy accident of winding up in Lt. Andrew Bogomil - I was right along 6th Ave between Broadway & W. 1st St - in Access camping.
Wound up in Access by accident. I drove down with two friends (one with a guest pass, the other a volunteer) in my vehicle so I went through the gates solo with three people's worth of stuff inside. That must have set off some kind of red flag with security, because I got the "absolute" search while my friends in the other two cars had to wait for me beside the road. The guy who searched wrote Absolute on my windshield, with the A much larger than the rest of the word. So my three vehicle caravan went in with me in the lead, and we came to a T in the road. The worker there sent me to the left where she'd been sending everyone else to the right. Couldn't tell why at the time, just went with it. I just followed the car in front of me and we all set up camp. It was hours before we realized what we'd done, and by then we set up and people had enclosed around us.
So many little mistakes turned into a perfect storm of awesome.
Camp Mortimer Duke. Really far from Centeroo, but I didn't mind it most of the time because there were always interesting people and neat booths to look at while walking.
this was my first bonnaroo and i loved it. i know that the ones in year past were amazing. i met many great people and miss it so much. but my question is where were you camped out?
i was in han solo i was the tent with the 3 pirate balloons
Dude, we were right next to you!!!!!!!! The Three pirate balloons were how we found our site, we were next to some people who had a smiley face and unicorn balloon as well. When we first parked my friend and the guy telling us how to park were screaming at each other!
We were parked in Ferris Bueller. But due to a screaming parking/security lady who wouldn't let us wait for our other car going through the tollbooths, we didn't get parked next to each other. Despite our good spot, we hauled our stuff to tent-only and set up in Camp Paulie so our two car loads of people could be camped together.
We got parked in Lando and then walked to Camp Paulie. We were literally 50 feet from the back of That tent, just a couple of spots from the main road. I saw so much more music this year than any other because it was so close to home. Our camp was also right on the edge of a dried out creek bed/drainage ditch running through the camp. No one put tents there and it just so happened to lead from our backdoor straight through camp towards the arches. We didn't even have to step over other peoples stuff. I'm aiming for the exact same spot next year! Hooray for poor man's VIP!
I was in Camp Ron Slater, way past the church on bushy branch on the other side of the lake. They need more infrastructure out there. Way too many people camped there, and the nearest pod (9) is a more than twenty minute walk from the furthest out parts of the area. There at least needs to be a water station somewhere over there.
Anyway, if you were over there, we were the camp with the big Texas Longhorns flag, with a big black T-Shirt flag nearby.
We were at the corner of 1st and 4th right across from tent city in paulie (tent only). We had 3 ezups (white, brown, brown) and a huge Budwiser Bonnaroo banner on the front of the first ezup.
We were right beside you. We had 2 ezup's with a monkey hanging on the first one. I think we talked to each other but I had no idea you were on here.
Yeah! I think I came over and borrowed something from you... maybe a knife?
I'm pretty sure we were Camp Lando. Our neighbors had a Jim Morrison banner that had something about masturbation that everyone laughed or smirked at as they passed by, even the mounties.
Came in Wed night and got parked right outside the Centeroo entrance. Marty McFly or something I believe, it was right beside Tent Only and VIP. So all those people that say if you come in on Wed you'll def get parked in BFE are wrong lol.
back left of Rocky Balboa by the tree line. If you saw a big 20' x 20' yellow and white party tent that was us.
I was in Rocky Balboa also and was part of the camping group from pa that played the 3 table long game of flip cup with you on Sunday night. Good Times!
We were in Camp Dr. Rumack, a bit up from the intersection of 3rd and 7th. Not too bad - close to vendors, two sets of porta potties, pay showers and water troughs. Walked right out of the entrance where the ferris wheel was, then made a right at the school bus with the blow-up doll in the wheelchair that was on the roof, and then made a right at the Canada flag to our Tarp City.
If anyone was in that area, we were the mega tarp/tent city (9 tents and 2 shower tents and 6 EZ Ups and lots of tarps) with an ivory sheet with "Bonnaroo" written on it and a rainbow swirly tapestry at our door.
We arrived like... 1pm? In line less than an hour from highway to campsite.

Pod 1 Camp Pu$$y Galore (the people that came with me, all guys, got a huge kick out of the name... hell even I got a little bit of a kick out of it lol) My friend Larry seemed to think that just b/c the name of the camp was PU$$Y Galore, that he had a big chance of getting laid....
We were right next to the road, just a few rows from the porta potties at the end.

haha, awesome. My girl and I were also in Han Solo... we used your balloons as one of the landmarks to get us back to camp...

Camp Empire(an access area). We were right along 5th like 4 "sites" from the not set up carnival rides. We have a white van across from us with mushrooms and Bonnaroo painted on it.
Say hey johnny boy, the battle call United we stand, divided we fall Together we are what we can't be alone We came to this country you made it our home
Camp David Wooderson right behind a blue old school VW van. Was confusing as hell to find the first night but pretty easy afterwards. Still, a brutal walk in that heat.
We were in Camp David Wooderson too! We got lost trying to get back the first night but, you're right, it was pretty easy for the rest of the weekend.
