Haha, "do you know if you pronounce it hot TUB TIME machine it's an entirely different movie."
That was so excellent!
And by the way, if anyone has a pristine memory: I was the guy with the crazy looking beard behind the lone fat kid that asked the first question. I also cheered very loudly at the beginning when Rob was asking everyone if they liked taking their kids to the park and drinking and what-not.
GWAR in the Fountain after their show. Never thought I would get so close to the members of GWAR without being covered in demon alien blood and/or semen.
Oderus rode by me on a golf cart during Weezer and gave me an epic high 5! We also saw John Butler Trio on carts riding through Centeroo Sunday after the Sonic Stage set. We saw Simon Balthazar of Fanfarlo strolling shirtless near The Other tent a few hours after their set.
We saw and I got a picture with madmanpondo, and I thought I saw questionablesanity at Baroness (I think). I asked your apparent doppleganger if he was on inforoo, and he looked at me as if to say "what kind of NO NO WORD!!! it that!" I apologized and went about my business.
rotflmao. 1. I would never be at Baroness 2. I have an infinite number of doppelgangers. Seriously, I have at least one patient a day that swears they know me. Red hair and a beard does it everytime. Everyone knows someone with red hair and a beard. 3. I am not a celebrity.

Jefferey Ross actually called McLovin out, and pulled him up on stage during his set. it was pretty funny! You could tell McLovin was not excited about being called out, but he was a good sport about it!

Saw Hockey Player Bryan Berard @ Weezer and I kind of think Jason Spezza was the guy with him. Also, saw Bryan Bell from Weezer watching Avett Bros. right on the sidewalk of the Which Stage

Man, I never get to see ANYBODY. This is partially because I don't know what a lot of people from bands and stuff look like, but damn, I would recognize Matthew Fox if I saw him!
I did see Beatle Bob a couple times though. And I saw some guys who I think must have been in some band, but I don't know who they were. And I spotted a bunch of Inforoosters! I got so excited every time I ran into someone or spotted someone in the crowd.
Margaret Cho was fricking everywhere. She was standing in front of me in the pit during Jay Z until she got creeped out by someone asking her to pose for a picture with him. It probably would've been okay but the dude was wearing a tee shirt with like nine pictures of her on it. She was cool about it and posed and then edged away a song or two later. When I was going through my pics I also saw that I had a picture of her dancing on the stage at the FLips show. When going through YouTube videos I found one of her being dragged on stage and violated by GWAR, too.
Julia Nunes was standing next to me in the crowd watching She and Him. She was really great with everyone that came by asking for pics and stuff. (She said during her set that she was actually camping during the festival as well.)
And I saw Beatle Bob lots, too.
Oh, and I saw Margaret Cho (again) stage-side during Weezer. They kept telling her she needed to stand somewhere else. Saw it happen like three times. There was an African-Amercian chick standing stage-side during the same set that wasn't asked to move but did have her picture take with a bunch of peoople. Anybody spy her and know who she is?

That pic is really you? I thought it was Simon Pegg!

Holy Leno. That is who I've always thought he resembled. I couldn't ever put a finger on it. Sweet. +1!

McLovin was there! I don't know what his real name is... but McLovin from Superbad was definitely there. I was on the right side of the pit for the Dead Weather, and I saw him walk down the path in the middle a few minutes before they started. It was awesome!
I was also in the right side of the pit for Stevie and I met the band for Martin Sexton. It was his bass player, drummer, and guitarist I think. I was eating some corn and sharing with the people around me, and this guy in a Rajon Rondo jersey told me he was in the band. So I watched Stevie and ate corn with Sexton's band! Pretty cool I'd say.
edit: guess I should have read the OP before I got excited and posted.
i missed roo this year but i've had the pleasure of meeting the guys in the ryan montbleau band several times (who are the guys opening up for sextons shows right now and playing as his backup band). way cool dudes. who also play their own brand of super amazing tunes.
Will post pic shortly, but yeah my daughter (Addy) got a pic with GaGa. She was with a handler going from Edward Sharpe to a backstage entrance near This Tent, doing a speed-walk among the people. Lots of people starting to point and turn to her, she was dashing off but we stopped her for a quick pic (my 6 year old was amazed) - to her credit she spoke to my daughter for a few moments, even shared her glitter eyeshadow with Addy's peace-sign-drawn cheek and then quickly scurried off backstage.
There were LOTS of artists and guests in VIP this year rather than the artist areas. From more than one source I've heard the artist area isn't all that great a place for people to stay (lots of buses, everyone's coming or going) so many "guests" and family of bands are being put in VIP. Plus, I think VIP had plenty of room this year with VIP sales down. We saw many people with THAT badges running around VIP.
