hello there! new to the board and new to the Roo this year
we're from nyc but will be flying to Atlanta and renting an RV from there. Then we have almost 3 full days to do some serious RV roadtripping in the south before making our way up to Bonnaroo - can't wait!
Anyone have any recommendations along the way? Looking to be blown away by some beautiful, serene outdoorsy landscapes.. but any recommendations will do! thank you bunches!
Northwestern NJ. Usually leave tuesday around 7p and with stops etc arrive in Murfreesboro around 9-10a wednesday morning. 14+/- hours haha not too bad!
If you are distressed by anything external, the pain is not due to the thing itself, but to your own estimate of it; and this you have the power to revoke at any moment.
Australia. It's about a 14 hour flight to LA and then hell knows how I even get to Manchester. This will be my first Roo should if everything goes to plan.

We come from Fort Valley, Virginia. No, it is not a military installation. It is a mountain valley in the Massanutten Mountain of Virginia. Geologically it is ringed by high mountain ridges, and thus called a "fort" by early settlers. The mountain is thick oak-hickory forest and is in the George Washington National Forest, Lee District.
A ten hour drive from this idyllic and spiritual landscape will put us in line to wait several hours before entering another spiritual dimension; a tribal gathering that reeks of humanity in close quarters.

Gosh, I hope you have at least one other leg of your trip worked out 'cause it's about 2000 miles from LA to Manchester!!!
We're leaving Tuesday from Michigan, and taking some time to check out southern Indiana and western Kentucky. It'd be nice to see the Land Between the Lakes again.

My fiance and I are coming from Jackson, MS. I think it's about a 6.5 hr drive.
I'll be heading in from Meridian, which should then be about 5 hours. Do you take the interstate the whole way or go up to Huntsville and then take the back roads?
Oh man, I remember seeing that Current episode... actually we have seen it a couple times because every time we see anything Bonnaroo on the Guide we watch it! Fantastic!!!
