Probably just bringing about 4 cases of good 'ol PBR because it's so darn easy to drink and cheap. Maybe some yuengling too because right now it's almost cheaper than pbr, and it's always good.
If I stumble upon some money, I might see if our local distributor can order me some canned #9. I'm usually an IPA guy but i don't know if I can drink alot of good beer in that heat.
i am usually an IPA girl but definitely cannot drink the high ABV beers in the heat. i still manage to drink good beers though, just good "lighter" beers. last year we had dale's pale ale & #9 with a few old chubs for nighttime. it was perfect.
I wish they had Yuengling in Texas. I finally tried it a few months ago when I was on the east coast. It would be great for during the day on the farm. I think I read it's available in Tennessee? If so maybe I'll stop and get some on the drive in. Any suggestions on where to find it?
foodparty - Yuengling has been available in TN when I've traveled there fer 'Roo.
rooter - Dale's Pale Ale is a good beer with flavor. Hell, every beer I've had from that brewery has been good to awesome.
That was my point... as a beer warms up, you get more of the flavor. That's why a shizzy beer tastes like shiz once it hits room temperature, but Dale's still tastes amazing.
My neighbors had this last year. Make sure you've got it damn cold, though. Taking a sip of a warm one can induce vomiting.
LOL wut? I guess if you don't like beer with flavor.
I like beer with flavour. I don't like 85 degree beer with flavour.
Are Miller Lite bottles still plastic? I've got a friend who has one of those beer cap press things. Maybe wash the plastic ones and put good beer innem.
Houston's best new brewery, Karbach, will begin releasing canned beers to its stores next month: a lager, an ipa, and a world-class wit beer that would be perfect for roo.

Bump.
I thoroughly enjoyed Point Nude Beach beer last year. It was so crisp and refreshing. Not sure on their distro ring, they are from WI. Plus it was pretty cheap, I want to say around $8 for a twelve pack.
For anyone who does not enjoy good canned beer, I have fallen in love with Bota Box wine. $20 will get you a box worth of 4 bottles of wine. I have only had the Cab and Malbec, but both are amazing at $5/bottle. It beats the Black Box or Franzia. I'm not saying it is on the same level as a Duckhorn or anything, but it's not bad.

Narraganset summer is shockingly pretty solid. I'm not a fan of the lager though
The lager is perfect lawnmower beer. Spend an afternoon doing yardwork in the hot sun, come inside, grab a wicked cold gansett out of the fridge and i'll tell you it's the most refreshing thing in the world, at least for me.

Gansett, the official beer of the clam... and something I bring a ton of to Quack Club parties.

In my house it's pretty much the official beer of summer, in general.
This may not be news to some of you, but I just saw Magic Hat #9 in 12-packs (cans) at Harris Teeter in Nashville.
You can get all kinds of stuff at midtown, including the NBB Ranger in cans. Caldera is still winning as my favorite canned ipa. However over all the buckbean orange blossom is my favorite Bonnaroo beer though it is a little pricey.
And wow, you're like a walking, talking infomercial to turn people away from Pearl Jam and Ohio State, aren't you? Before you started posting here I quite liked Pearl Jam and was indifferent towards OSU, now I find myself wishing that Eddie Vedder falls down a mine shaft or that Columbus is infested with locusts
