the space for the rv is 20 by 50 right? are these actually marked. i have been to a nascar event in an rv before and the spots were not marked so you could steal a lil real estate if you parked that way. if you come in with 2 rvs can you arrange them facing each other? if anyone has a picture of their rv campsite from a previous year it would be extremely helpfull.
how about the GA RV parking, from my understanding lines are online painted for the VIP sections right?
The lines are striked on almost every parking section, especially RV's. Sometimes the rain and the high growth rate of the farm's grass makes the lines almost impossible to see, but they're there.
As for setting up your tent, you'll be fine as long as you don't block the fire lanes. The Fire Marshall and his crew are the only ones who might have a problem with it, so make sure you keep the fire lane clear. I mainly mean the "road" that is between you and the other RV's, where you pull into right before you get parked into your spot.

i have a pretty big group going and we are planning to put a 10x20 canopy side by side with our rv. when the lot attendents are parking us is it a type of situation where we could maybe tip them a $20 to give us a little more space between the rv next to us?

Then you would take space away from the people on the other side of you, I'm sure they want the space they paid for as well...
