Haha some things just sting too much. I really like this deal though. I've always been a big fan of the Uptons. I actually made trades very similar to this in The Show a few years ago to get the brothers Upton on the Bravos. I think there's a front office in my future.
A-roid? A-fraud? His image is in tatters and he's dropping off productions wise bigtime. Is anyone really surprised by this new revelation though? I hope not.

I just find it funny that A-Rod clearly juiced in 2009 to get the Yankees that title.
His hypocrisy (celebrated by the Kool-Aid Faithful in the Bronx) is astounding. The arrogance is staggering.
For those that forgot, in Spring Training 2009, A-Roid sat in front of cameras and microphones and said he was "immature" and "stupid" when he took PEDs from 2001-2003. That SAME SPRING TRAINING he gets a delivery of performance enhancing drugs.
All I can say is that I hope the BBWAA do the right thing and never vote any of these scumbags in. Character-Integrity-Sportsmanship- thats 3 of the traits they vote on and thats three that juicers do not have. period.
player records, playing ability, contributions to team?
Not to be a jerk or anything, but you know Ty Cobb was one of the biggest, scummiest, most racist pieces of sh*t to ever play a professional sport, right?
Ty Cobb, as stated before. And should we take out Mickey Mantle from the hall of fame because he was a womanizing alcoholic, that probably never truly reached his destined position as greatest of all time because of that fact? A lot of guys didn't have "good character" when they played, but are still in the hall of fame is all I'm saying. It's a double standard clause.
^If you think old school players didn't cheat, that's exhibit A. Baseball has always been about pushing the boundaries on what you can get away with. There are plently of players in the HOF who have "cheated" in one way or another. For example: Vaseline on the cap, sharpened spikes, scuffing the ball, corked bats, etc.
And if Roids aren't against league rules when these guys are playing, how is it cheating? In the case of Bonds that is. I don't recall Barry sitting out any games due to a suspension.

Yeah baseball was practically founded on cheating. If you're gonna pull the character, integrity and sportsmanship card you can throw out just about every player pre-1940 except for Walter Johnson. That's just BS.
Then again, so is the entire Baseball Hall of Fame and especially the BBWAA. Biggest thing that's wrong with baseball right now IMO.
And what really funny about all of this is that I might be working for the Hall of Fame this summer.

And, you know, greenies and cocaine.
I mean, you really don't want to strike this gem from the record books...http://www.time.com/time/arts/article/0,8599,1940150,00.html
And that's actually pretty cool Balsalm. What exactly are you going to be doing?
