Maybe the school was under heat from UM for this secret show getting out and he had to delete it? One way we can be sure is when UM drops their Spring/Summer Dates, keep an Eye on April 23rd.
Maybe he realized it was from a past year or something.
not likely unless the newsprint had a typo, last time April 23rd was on a Friday, was 2004, this was 2 months before Anchor Drops was released... the only reason I know this is because April 23rd is my birthday haha

As for the the whole notion of secret shows, it is possible. This past saturday Mos Def played at Denison University; it wasn't advertised at all, on either of their websites, and only students could buy tickets. So just because there isn't any word out on this doesn't mean its not happening necessarily.

The OP wasn't ying. My brother is currently at Sewanee and I asked about Umphreys playing and he responded to my text "Yeah, Im not sure when, but they are. U should come down, ill find out when."
So when he finds out when it is Ill post it here.
Edit: My brother couldn't clarify Bonnaroo, but they are playing at Sewannee. So the OP is at least telling a little bit of the truth.
I had to delete my account/post from earlier because Bonnaroo got on my case/ my school's newspapers case about releasing their lineup before they do. So we had to take down the information concerning Umphrey's at Bonnaroo.

Really hoping they give Umph a late night set as there are very few bands on the current line-up I rather see in that slot. Give us Wish You Were Here!! (If anyone has the Cover It album there is a smoking Shine On cover on it.)
Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.

Thank god, some good news... Maybe today won't suck as hard as yesterday after all!
^You seem really emotionally invested in UM being there boss. If they are there I wanna watch the show with you.
haha, i wasn't so much upset with finding the deleted post yesterday as to how shitty the day was as a whole... But there's something about Umphrey's McGee that i enjoy that i haven't enjoyed at any other live show, including Roger Waters and David Gilmour...
tl:dr - I'll be there, getting down to some Umphrey's, assuming they are there! (other shows, too, of course )

While I think Mule's covers are better, really only because of Warren's voice, I do like the songs Umphrey's covers more. Its A Man's World played by Gov't Mule is still my favorite cover ever, though.
Damn I wish they were in the initial announcement since I'm already committed to All Good now and can only afford one festival this summer. But you guys are sure in for a treat, I just saw my 20th Umph show on Saturday and they seem to get better each time
