I honestly can't narrow it down to a top 10, so here's my top 20, leaving off a few of the bands I've seen before was the only way I could get it down to 10. I refuse to rank them. I just don't think about bands that way.
Dave Matthews Band Dead Weather Death Cab Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros Fanfarlo The Flaming Lips Jeff Beck John Fogerty John Prine Manchester Orchestra Nitty Gritty Dirt Band Norah Jones Punch Brothers Regina Specktor She and Him Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers Stevie Wonder Tori Amos They Might Be Giants Trombone Shorty
And there are plenty of bands I just don't know very well yet. I'm gonna have a busy four days as usual, even with the worst lineup in history.
It seems that all my bridges have been burned But you say "that's exactly how this grace thing works" It's not the long walk home that will change this heart But the welcome I receive with every start.

#1: Tenacious D: I heard that they put on a super awEsome show.
#2: Weezer: (plz plz play mostly older stuff kthx)
#3: The Flaming Lips: never knew much about them till recently. After doing a little research i'm very excited to be seeing them.
#4: John Fogerty: I LOVE CCR!
#5: The Black Keys: First introduced to them via the Black Snake Moan sountrack. So glad I saw that movie.
#6: The Dead Weather: not heard a WHOLE lot from them but what I have heard is pretty exceptional.
#7: Jay-Z: Hello It's freakin Jay-Z! (If only we coulda got Lil Wayne too....)
#8: Deadmau5, Lotus, LCD Soundsystem: love me some electronica/techno.
#9: Norah Jones, Stevie Wonder, Damien Marly w/ Nas
#10: Baroness: got to have at least some Metal.
Yeah, lots of ppl complain about the line-up. I've never been to Bonnaroo, 2010 will be my first,(got my tix already!!) but after reading up on ppl's experiences there I think I would go even if there weren't many bands on the lineup that I liked. From what I've heard I'll leave with more favorite bands than what I showed up with.
Excited for Paul McCartney, Bjork, David Byrne & St. Vincent, Soul SuperJam, Animal Collective, Wilco, The National, Wu-Tang Clan, Grizzly Bear, Beach House, Kendrick Lamar, Tame Impala, The xx, Nas, Japandroids, Solange, Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti, Dirty Projectors & R. Kelly
11:DMB 12.Allison Krauss and union station(assuming they play) 13.deadmau5 14:Lotus 15:disco biscuits 16.jimmy cliff 17.monte montgomery 18.311 ( im not a huge fan but assuming they show,i hear they are great live) 19.GWAR 20.Les Claypool
There is no particular order to my top 20, simply because that would take a lot of work. There are also well over 20 acts i want to see. All in all i think once another round of additions gos up the ticket will be well worth it... the experience alone is worth it.
Hehe, I feel inclined to fully agree with this post. Wakarusa has a sick lineup, too.
i'm glad you all enjoy seeing the same lineup every year.
Some people would rather see .moe for the 12th time than Stevie Wonder or Jay-Z for the first, Yonder Mountain for the 10th than Zooey Deschanel or Nas or Jeff Beck. I mean, I love chicken quesadillas, but every once and awhile I want some wings or a salad or a cheeseburger. Some people are cool eating the quesadilla every day, for every meal. I like to mix it up. That's why I like Bonnaroo.
