Pathetic is getting excited over the Dave Matthews Band getting announced. I'd much sooner jerk off with sandpaper than be anywhere near a Dave Matthews Concert. Listening to that shizzy band is the equivalent of having your ears sodomized with icepicks.

Consequence of Sound (and others) mentioned that they learned about it via press release. I haven't seen it or anything but that doesn't seem to be a surprising route for Jeff Beck to release this info. Guess we'll know for sure in twenty minutes!
the hilarious part, at least for me, is that he picked weezer as the only good band on that list. The Blue Album is the first CD i ever owned, and will always hold a special place in my heart. But the music that weezer has been turning out for say...at least their last 3 albums.

never listened to sister hazel, so i cannot really comment intelligently on that. However, I have listened to both Blues Traveler and Weezer, and I can say, unequivocally, that Blues Traveler is much better.
Blue Album and Pinkerton were awesome albums, but they are not even close to being that band anymore.
