Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I dont think Jay-Z, Muse and Gorillaz are such a thrilling set of headliners, either. Still, lots of great stuff to see at Coachella, too. There will be more BNAs added.
Part of me feels like this is backlash for the way it's been delivered. I wonder if we had just gotten the lineup if everyone woulda been so outraged. I'm still dreaming of Neil tonight. I'll dream about it until the day I cram my nuts into the Geo and drive down. And if the mans not there, well, life goes on.
i can tell you right now my answer is no, i wouldn't have been so outraged. not at all.
KOL SHOULD NOT BE A FLIPPING HEADLINER!!!! Or DMB! DMB tours ALL THE TIME...its not like we woudn' have the chance to see him 20+ times in our lifetime. An KOL has the worst stage performance...I left in the middle of their performance at ACL.
There is to much overlap between Bonnaroo and ACL....I wish bonnaroo hadmore of the Coachella's sloppy seconds (pretty lights, rusko, muse, gorillaz).
I think the bands are OKAY...I was hoping for a little more umph...Roger Waters, Neil Young, Red Hot Chili Peppers, STS9, Rolling Stones, etc. It loos like we got sloppy seconds from both ACL and Coachella this year...and not all good ones. I wish I had not bought a presale ticket...not only did I waste my money, but almost 10 hours of my time today. Not looking forward to seeing KOL or DMB...again...ugh.
This happens every year!!! EVERY YEAR!!! I think the worst year was when we were aiming for Led Zepp. Except we got Lez Zepp...I was let down...I said what the hell...then i went out and started listening to all the undercards and had a friggen blast! The list got stronger and I had a blast either way.
Bonnaroo is an experience for me, the music is always good and the party even better. You may be mad now, but come June 10th.....Party ON!!!
As my Inebriated buddy walks out of the Porto, he yells out, "Dude...I love this place...bonnaroo thinks about everything...they even put beer holders next to the toilet!"
Had to break it to him that that was the urnal. Good times good times!
And again I was originally against the way they were going to do it this year but it turned out to be exciting.. It felt like election night with every new state coming in. My phone was blowing up all day.
I just don't get you people who are so hung up on headliners.. THAT's lame.

yeah idk. I also think maybe we did this to ourselves? Getting so insanely bent on rumors and shit, and freaking out when it doesn't magically come true. Regardless, I'm pumped for the hip hop and some of the smaller stuff. JBT will be there, and a show from those guys has left me smiling for weeks later. No lie. All is well.
Maybe it is just a weak year for Festival lineups. Maybe they couldnt get the bands this year because all the bands we speak of are simply unavailable for whatever reason. Keep in mind, that is one of the reasons Rothbury cited for its cancellation!

the main thing that's weirding me out is kings of leon apparently as a headliner. i just can't believe that they would get a primetime spot playing all by themselves. i have to think that there's at least one more big name up superfly's sleeves.
but even if nothing huge happens with the headliners, i won't be too pissed. there's already one that i'm really hyped about (jay-z), and i'm feeling good about the undercard. the headliners didn't interest me at all in 2008, and i still had a great time.

This. horrible execution.
If they didn't have what a large number of people were expecting they should have either 1. Announced the initial lineup all at once as usual. 2. Not teased with the final announcement only to reveal Stevie Wonder. Stevie shouldn't have been listed last-- they should have saved a crowd pleaser for that spot.
Anyways, unless they do something drastic to make up for this, I'm not there.
Looking at the lineup last year, they really shat the bed on this year. I don't know what planet they live on where Dave Matthews Band and Kings of Leon are getting the job done. Unless they have an earth shattering reveal in the next few weeks, I'm not impressed in the slightest.
Kings of Leon were barely headliners at Lollapalooza and they got outshone by everyone else who played. Pandering to the bud light crowd if I've ever seen it. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited about certain bands, but that lineup is not enough so far for me to travel, equip myself and cough up 2 hundo for.
