Kristoferson is playing at the Newberry Opera House later this month, I'm going to try to make it to that. Will then determine wether or not he's Roo-ready.
Going in before hand, I'd love for him to be there, but it all depends on how good his show is.
-When I Hear My Name -Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground -Blue Orchid -Passive Manipulation -Red Rain -Death Letter -My Doorbell -Hotel Yorba -Same Boy You've Always Known -Lovesick -Little Ghost -We're Going to Be Friends -The Hardest Button to Button -Black Math -The Nurse -I Just Don't Know What to Do With Myself
Encore: -Ball and Biscuit -Seven Nation Army -Screwdriver
With the list of Lilith artists, it looks like they will have different line ups at every show. I'm not sure how much her participation will impact the potential of a Roo appearance.
I'm not sure about the classic country slot but the Bluegrass lineup is already looking better this year than last, IMO
Really? That bluegrass line up last year was just crazy. Steeldrivers, Cherryholmes, Del McCoury Band, Tony Rice. I still can't believe that Saturday line up.
Just read the tail end of the thread.... but, seriously... Allison Krause! Especially if she is singing with Steve Martin and "The Steep Canyon Rangers"... Just a suggestion.

Would Commander Cody be considered Classic Country? Probably more of a Rockabilly, but would LOVE to see him there... always awesome and in my opinion he's a PERFECT fit to finally hit the Farm!
He's got a gig in CA on 6/11 but could maybe swing by for a chill Sunday afternoon in a tent? Here's him in 1989 with a couple other legends
I got convinced to go to Bamajam last year and that was where I got most of my country education. That was one hell of a festival by the way....country and jam bands pretty cool.
But some of the top picks from last year is for sure Charlie Daniels band, I was so surprised, they rocked and jammed with tons of energy. They had some 15 minute long instrumentals. It was insanely amazing. They would fit right in at roo.
Also my fav of all time is Shooter Jennings, that guy seriously is incredible. He rocks out like no bodies business. Their organ player was nuts, he stands while he plays and after every song he's 5 feet from where he started because he hits the keys (and jumps on the keyboard) so hard.
Jamey Johnson is a relatively new guy with some classic country sound, he's pretty bad ass.
