^I would go to 'roo just for a Knopfler/Harris set I missed being able to see that show, but what a great album. If they played in the evening I would fully expect at least 100 babies to be conceived at the set.
George Jones would be the best possible, I think. Emylou Harris Dolly Parton (after some reevaluation, yeah she needs to come!) But, please, no Hank, Jr. or III.

Wow, I guess I'm the only one that doesn't like Hank III... I know it's not classic country, but since we were talking about the Williams, I had to say that I'd not see him.

To the people on the fence on No Show Jones, I saw him last year... he is still great on stage. Sure, his voice isn't what it used to be, but a concert from him at Roo would be one hell of a barnburner.
He's like you made an über troll by taking the worst parts of me (the utter disregard for other people's opinions), Phi (cluttering up threads with memes and adding nothing to a discussion) and Jess (an apparent belief that everyone else is the problem and/or arrogance without self awareness).

I saw him a couple of years ago, and he was pretty disappointing. He changed/didn't know most of the lyrics to his songs so it was pretty frustrating to try and sing along to and there just generally wasn't any energy from him or his band.
