Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I thought they were testing the waters a bit this year. Perhaps Superfly asked Phish to cover "Highway to Hell" or another AC/DC track in order to see how the crowd would respond. Perhaps angus will be on the farm next year.
And in the Bonnaroo Beacon on Sunday they made a comment about how not many could rival the boss and his stage show (or something like that)...............except maybe the Rolling Stones.
So I think one of the possible headliners will be AC/DC or The Rolling Stones.
Others I can't really think of. I'd love MMJ but don't know if it will happen next year
I completely agree. While waiting on Bruce I heard some AC/DC hit the airwaves. I also heard it a bit around the farm.
So I was going to say something on the lines of: AC/DC Friday or Sat. MMJ or Allmans Fri or Sat. WSP Sun <-- hey why not. haha
Also, I find it a good idea to always watch previous headliners for Coachella. We got Tool after they played Coachella there second time. If thats the case, we could look at Coldplay and Chili Peppers as possible headliners along with Chemical Brothers, Massive attack, Depeche Mode and Daft Punk.
To add to The Rolling Stones speculation, I must have heard Rocks Off at least 15 times over the various PA systems on the farm. Not saying that is a bad thing though.

I would love this... FRI Outkast > Tool (Like Beastie Boys & Phish this year) SAT Jack Johnson & Ben Harper > Radiohead (Like Jack Johnson & Pearl Jam last year) SUN Phish
I could actually see this FRI Outkast > Rage Against the Machine SAT Paul McCartney & Bob Dylan with very special guest Ringo Starr (Paul & Bob are recording a album together) SUN The Dead or Dave Matthews Band
I feel like if MMJ or KOL play next year it will be in wilco's time slot this year
I know SF & AC will be considering The White Stripes for two reasons: 1)Jack & Meg are working on an album after Jack is doene touring with the Dead Weathers. 2)Jack & Meg White live in Nashville.
I fully expect Prince to be there next year, but then again I predicted The Stones and ZZ Top for this year.

Maybe MMJ aren't big enough to headline, but was Jack Johnson?
As far as Iron Maiden... Bonnaroo would be a SMALL show for them. They regularly play massive arena shows and people overflow the gates.
I know me and at least a few friends would buy a Bonnaroo ticket JUST TO SEE MAIDEN. I know they have a lot of dedicated fans who would flock from far away to see them, since they are getting older and tour the US pretty rarely.
^^^^^^ Iron Maiden- Eiddie over bonnaroo would freak out the crowd. I think that would be fun and bring me back to my childhood even though I don't see it happing.
Eric Clapton in some form Hopefully like Katy said, Cream...I really hope its not Radiohead again. Honestly, I know you guys all loved the show, but I want to see someone I havent seen at Roo before.

If we're talking clues, then there was a lot of Michael Jackson playing over the PAs all weekend.
And where would you realistically go after The Boss>The Stones? There are other (arguably better) acts, but that seems like a peak in terms of "bigness."

I second. Although I think it'll go Rage/RHCP, Paul, Dead/DMB with Jay-Z or Daft Punk for the late night on Friday.
Metallica is a pop metal band. Maiden is a METAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL band. I have serious doubts about a festival that is primarily "hippies and hipsters" bringing in MAAAAAAAAAAAIDDDDDDDDDDDDEN.
For the record, I predicted this year's headliners correctly this year.
For 2010 I will predict:
Friday: Rage Against the Machine Saturday: R.E.M Sunday: Phil Lesh & Friends
That would be perfect, and looks a lot more realistic than many of the other predictions on here. I'm not a huge R.E.M. fan, but saw them last year with Modest Mouse...they put on an amazing show.
MMJ could still be there as a late night set...where they shine the brightest anyway.

For 2010 I will predict:

They'll have that if they want to lower the bar some or they better have some strong undercards similar to this year. Only way I'll be back next year is if the headliners are of or similar to what I've posted. This one was just too good to pass up.
-When I Hear My Name -Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground -Blue Orchid -Passive Manipulation -Red Rain -Death Letter -My Doorbell -Hotel Yorba -Same Boy You've Always Known -Lovesick -Little Ghost -We're Going to Be Friends -The Hardest Button to Button -Black Math -The Nurse -I Just Don't Know What to Do With Myself
Encore: -Ball and Biscuit -Seven Nation Army -Screwdriver

Can we all get together and sign a petition to say please don't book the DMB over Allmans or the Dead for Sunday? That is unless they really want me to leave early again.
