Walmart may be your best bet. But if you don't mind possibly getting in BFE then I would say get into Roo at 2ish....setup and stuff and be sleeping/hanging out by 3 preparing for the next day.
I plan on going right into roo after a quick stop at walmart........because we usually leave our campsite by noon and don't return until like 4 a.m. so we don't mind possibly landing in BFE

We're going from Nashville > Knoxville > and at the least driving back to the Nashville area after the show. It will be a struggle to get everybody together to go when we get back but that's what we're shooting for.
here is what you guys need to do..... watch phish sober..... get a hotey afterwards.... get up at 4:30am... drive to chattanooga.... and then drive up to manchester from there.... it is about 40 minutes longer of a drive... but if you get into line coming from the south around 8-9am, then you will have the bomb camping spot.
I'm going to drive a couple of hours after the show, get a hotel room, get a few hours of sleep in the a/c, have a shower and a few more moments of mental stability, and then try and get in line around 9 or ten.
im not trying to solicit, but i work at a hotel in cookeville tn (close to halfway to roo), and I can get you a nice hotel room for $35 total, if anyone is interested just let me know

if you can sleep the night before roo you are truly blessed, it is pointless for me to get a hotel so im just gonna head straight to walmart its like a extra couple hours of a mini roo
hotel room! sleep! last chance for a comfy bed and decent shower for 4 days.
don't know how much real sleep will be possible in the post-knoxville show pre-bonnaroo excitement, but at least it's a comfy place to lie down for a bit.

For those of you thinking about heading out after the show, remember that there is a time zone change between Knoxville and Bonnaroo. It's about a 2 hour 45 minute drive, but elapsed time will be one hour less than that.

Thanks for the heads up about the time change, i forget every year. We got a hotel in Oak Ridge, Tn, little ways off the beaten trail. Get some rest, some ice, and a shower, and we are on our way.
