I also was supposed to have the new Mount Kimbie by now, but it appears to have been on back order when I ordered it and I was waiting to get the vinyl before I actually listened to it, as I was about 99% sure I'd like it after all the rave reviews. Oh well, I may have to settle for another source to listen to it if this record is going to take much longer to get to me.

Haha, thanks. I've always wanted a nice record collection, at least one where I could have something to throw on at any given moment for a certain mood. What I really need to focus on is blues (currently only have a couple blue records) and jazz, and some more country-ish type stuff. I've really gone heavy with the synthpop, industrial, and 80s in general. I'm also a little light on hip hop.

So, I've been eyeing Kanye's "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" for a while... at $30 at a store down the road, anyone have an opinion on the quality? If it's not of utmost amazing quality, I'll probably pass on it until I can find a cheaper used copy (much cheaper, hopefully), but if it's great I'll consider getting it this weekend.

I concur. Cool to own, but not the utmost amazing quality.

Third Man Records went above and beyond this month with The Vault’s release of Icky Thump. I am impressed.
Yea, I always read what is coming but by the time it arrives I kind of forget exactly. Like, I'll know which band(s) will be focused on but some of the details I forget.
The boxes they make for the box sets are absolutely amazing and I love them (even if I'm running out of space for all of them) and this one with the double LP of Demo's and b-sides is great. I also have needed a copy of Icky Thump for a while so this was just perfect.
