Since it seems I'm doing this again (it has, in fairness, been two years to the month) here's every relevant (the answers that haven't changed) answer I got to the first time around:
Who is the better witch or wizard: Sabrina (of the teenage variety) or Harry Potter (of Hogwarts fame)? Sabrina.
Miley Cyrus, better pre or post Hannah Montana? Post.
What is one song that you think the cover is better than the original? All Along the Watchtower.
Favorite color? Blue.
How did you end up on Inforoo? In 2014 I was kicking myself for jumping the gun on Lolla and not at least peeking at the Roo lineup beforehand. I wanted to find out if any acts for 2015 had been confirmed, and came here.
Have you met anyone from the board in person yet? If yes, who was the first person you met? If no, who would you like to meet most? Nope. Plans were sketched out for a Lolla meet-up last year, but that never happened. I don't know who I'd like to meet the most.
What is your favorite memory from 4th grade? Winning the school geography bee.
Cats or dogs? Dogs. I'm allergic to cats. Fuck cats.
Do you have any pets? I have a dog, Bronson. Well, he's with my sister, but he's mine too.
How do you feel about clowns? Eh.
What is your favorite TV show? House of Cards.
What is one show or movie that should be on Netflix, but isn't? I actually don't have a Netflix account. I use my sister's, and I am not up to date on what is and isn't on there.
Are there any foods that you absolutely won't eat? Why? Grapefruit. It screws with my epilepsy medication.
Are you allergic to anything? CATS. Nothing else besides that.
Biggest fear? The unknown.
Where were you born? The hospital I was born in is in Berwyn, Illinois. I grew up in North Riverside (and went to high school right next to a zoo).
What is something you wish wasn't true? (this can be anything) I wish the sentence was "I have a brother", not "I had one".
What is something you wish people knew about you? I'm nice, ok? Just because I have resting bitch face doesn't mean I can't be nice.
We watched the Voyage of the Mimi (featuring a very young Ben Affleck) in the sixth grade, and I became obsessed with humpback whales and determined to be a marine biologist! I think that lasted like a year before I had the same realization. But my whale obsession did get me a trip to Hawaii my senior year, so that was pretty cool.
Would you rather have a bionic arm or a bionic leg? Arm. I can deal with having a limp leg for the rest of my life.
Would you rather die of the cold or die of the heat? Cold.
Would you rather have your face and body, but the brain of a chimpanzee, or be a chimpanzee, but have your human brain? The latter.
Would you rather wake up and find your teeth have fallen out or your hair has fallen out? Hair. Being bald is fine.
Would you rather be a penguin, who's a bird but can't fly, or a flying fish that's a fish that can fly a bit? Penguin.
What's a story where you were researching or producing it and you thought to yourself, "Well, I never expected to be here." That really hasn't happened yet.
When did you know you were a little obsessed with music? When I had to explain what I was humming to my parents.
what did you want to be when you were 5? 10? 15? 20? No matter what, I've always wanted to be something related to storytelling. When I was 5, I wanted to be a director; 10, a screenwriter. I didn't know that I wanted to be a journalist until my junior year of high school. Now it's just a decision between what I want to cover: sports, or arts and culture.
where do you see yourself in 15 years? I want to be on the radio. I've been told again and again that I "have the voice". I also just really enjoy being on the radio. It's like my zen garden.
what is time where a simple choice had profound consequences on your life? So this happened just after my parents found out I had CP. My dad used to work for the Chicago-Northwestern railroad. After they were bought out by Union Pacific, UP wanted him to move to Omaha. My dad refused, largely because there's not that many neurologists in Omaha.
would you rather live the rest of your life in a city/town of your choosing that you could never leave, or live in a random, arbitrarily assigned city/town but be able to travel freely? I'd rather be able to travel freely.
would you rather get on a plane and move to oregon literally tomorrow morning, or never use a towel again for the rest of your life? I hear Portland is lovely.
do you play any instruments? any you'd like to learn? I can play cornet (basically a small trumpet) and (sort of) drums.
do you want to eventually have kids? how many? I couldn't deal with more than two.
if you are on a desert island, what 3 albums would you bring? The Suburbs; Sound of Silver; and Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not
if you are on a dessert island, what is it made out of? Cake.
What is the one thing that makes you laugh the hardest? I am a HUGE fan of slapstick. I will never not laugh at a Tom and Jerry episode.
What is your perfect pizza? Deep dish.
What is your fondest childhood memory? It depends on what you consider "childhood". If we're talking under-18, going to the London Olympics takes the cake. Fell in love with London, I've been planning a return trip there ever since. If we're excluding high school, being in Boston for the 2004 ALCS and World Series was pretty cool as a baseball fan.
How many states have you been to? 33 (IL, MO, WI, MN, IN, MI, KS, NE, MA, NH, NY, ME, VA, MD, MT, WY, AZ, CA, NV, FL, AL, GA, TN, KY, OH, ND, SD, NC, PA, UT, CO, NM, IA)
How many countries (besides America) have you been to? 2 (Canada and the United Kingdom)
When was the last time you crossed state lines? Coming back to Mizzou from winter break.
What's your favorite thing about living where you do? Never run out of things to do.
What's the worst thing about living where you do? There's no train station. Flying out of here is expensive
And how many have you been to? I've never been to Roo.
Also, want to but haven't yet? Roo, Glasto, Coachella
What's your favorite albums of 2015? In Colour.
Your thoughts on country music? I hate bro country. Other types I'm cool with. Metal? I mean, I've been front row at a Metallica concert. I don't think I need to say much more. Jazz? I like it, but don't usually go out of my way to listen to it.
Would you rather be outside in rain or snow? Snow.
What's your favorite toppings on a pizza? CHEESE!
Target or Walmart? Target. Home Depot or Lowes? Home Depot Popeyes or KFC? Popeyes Ford or Chevy? Ford
Waffle House, IHOP, or Denny's? Waffle House, the one true answer. Pancakes or Waffles? That said, pancakes. Waffle House has boss pancakes. Is a burger a sandwich? Hell no. It's a burger. They're their own thing.
Favorite English team? Brentford. I fear Benham's moneyball strategy isn't going to work out as well as we hoped. I mean, Dijkhuizen was crap, and I would've sacked him after about five matches. My hope is that we can buy Swift long term from Chelsea and Canos from Liverpool.
Favorite This American Life episode? The pair revolving around Harper High School.
Favorite cheesehead? Top hat, sombrero, or classic triangle? One that I've knocked off someone's head.
#FUCKTHEPACKERS Biggest shock of living on your own? I guess the biggest change is actually paying fairly close attention to my finances.
Worst and best part of living on your own? Worst part: I'm really, really messy.
Best part: FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEDDDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!
I enjoy not having my parents breathing down my neck.
Ancient world invading army of choice? Umm...I hear the Persians were relatively benevolent if you were useful.
Whats the mood been like on campus since the Mizzou protests? Did you cover them? Thoughts? It was certainly interesting covering them and having to walk past the campsite every day to and from class. I was part of student radio then (as I am now) and I anchored our drivetime newscast the day Wolfe resigned. It was a shitshow because our news director A. had no idea how to handle it (so we winged it) and B. was busy shooing off the AP. But we pulled it off.
What do you like about it? It feels just the right size. Columbia seems to the smallest city I could live in. It actually has a public trans system.
Have any favorite spots in Columbia? I've had burgers at Booches and pizza at Shakespeares (which might not be there anymore). Shake's is still there, and it's overrated. Gumby's is better. Have not been to Booches yet. Flat Branch is a good pub.
The Blue Note is the best music venue here. Kurt Vile will come here in a month, and that's where he's playing. (That'll probably be my 100th set as well).
What is your opinion on the protests that happened on campus? What was portrayed accurately and what was not by the national media? What do you think of the fallout? I appreciate them as a learning experience. It was interesting covering a national news event as a freshman. I think that some of CS1950's goals are unrealistic, but I think some are worth shooting for (the expansion of the Health Center comes to mind). I feel like the national media jumped to BUT THEY'RE BLACK! when not every goal CS1950 has is race related.
What's your best memory in life so far? Going to the London Olympics.
Do you have siblings? If so, how many? Where are you in the birth order? If no, do you wish you had siblings or are you happy as an only child? Well...technically....
Techincally I'm the middle child. However, my younger brother is well...dead.
Did you intend to make yourself BMOTM again or are you just rolling with it? I'm just fuckin' rolling with it.
How does it feel to be the first multi-month BMOTM? I'm the first? Shiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeet if it's me then this thread has failed
What fandom do you consider yourself a part of? I'm not a super active member of any fandoms. The closest thing is Oxenfree, an indie video game that I've done a few fan projects for and met many of my friends through.
Are you going to Roo this year? Noooooooope. Gonna be doing a summer internship....somewhere. Probably somewhere in California.
Have you still not met anyone from the board? I've met KPO, Dan808, LD, Dr. Joe, shuck and a few other lurkers
What is one fact you think everyone should know? Cape Town, South Africa will run out of water in a month. The metro area has 3 million people.
What is the craziest fact you've heard that sounds fake but is actually real? George Halas (the founder of the NFL and the Chicago Bears) was supposed to be on the Eastland, but he was five minutes late. The boat sank, killing a majority on board. Poof, the NFL as we know it probably doesn't exist.
Do you find conspiracy theories interesting or stupid? Both?
Favourite conspiracy theory? My sister is convinced H.H. Holmes (serial killer) and Jack the Ripper were the same individual.
Opinions on aliens. They exist, we just haven't found them yet.

[/quote] Not really a question, but I'm happy you picked this fact. It's really scary to think that a major city is going to literally run out of water and it doesn't seem to be dominating the news anymore. Cap'n Mac's cousin was going to move to Cape Town until the severity of the water situation came to light. Her friend still lives there (which was the reason she was going to move there). She's apparently moving to Amsterdam now, unless the water crisis is miraculously solved in the next few months...

We should totally visit her in Amsterdam. Because... reasons. I'm sure it wouldn't take much wrangling to convince Uncle Mark to roadtrip up for the family reunion, either.

The lack of coverage is what terrifies me. Water is going to be the next thing states are fighting over.
I mean, imagine if LA ran out. That's 13 million without water. Which is scary.
I have no problem carrying on my stint as Board Member of the Month of the Year considering it was such a hit last time. I will even attempt to answer all your questions.

What are your three favorite parts of your normal day?
Who is someone you look up to but will never meet?
What is one video you always watch to cheer you up?
What was the best moment of your life?
What is the biggest bamboolzle you've ever pulled off?
1) Waking up next to my gf, thrift shopping, listening to Kanye West
2) Probably Kanye, but I'm still holding out hope
3) I wouldn't be surprised if I take up half of the views of this stupid video, but I love it:
4) I'll give a few: Patriots Falcons super bowl was the best sports memory, Tame Impala was best concert experience, and every Bonnaroo is super amazing
5) I used to shoplift from Walmart to "stick it to the man" in middle school lol. I'm sure they missed their Lego sets and random video games
