I guess @jonesjupiter decided to stop responding to the questions after you scared him with the hangout thread.
i don't blame @jonesjupiter, the Hangout thread is a scary place. It seems chill at first, but hang around there long enough and you'll find yourself sitting on the tail gate of a pickup truck with Michael Franti blaring from the busted speakers, drinking a warm Corona and smoking a metal pipe filled with low end midgrade. that's no way to live.

Geez, guys. Rush much? Give me time. I said "remainder of year".
This was once one of my favorite threads. @jonesjupiter , I will love you forever-ish if you don't nominate yourself as board member of the month from May through December. If you're stuck as a follow up, I'll give you suggestions.

I have an idea for January. Just have to get through the daunting task of answering all these questions. This has truly been an honor.
I am going to Turkey at least for a couple of months since my next job is probably not gonna start until then.
Are you looking anywhere in particular?
Why Fred Flintstone?
Originally I wanted to stay in Northeast, and I was about to move Philly, but it didn't happen because academia might sometimes suck. I am looking into a lot of other places, but still try to focus on bigger cities in the US. I gotta have my concerts.
The Flintstones was the first movie I saw in a theatre (circa 1993). I always felt a connection to Fred (my middle name is also spelled similar to Fred), and furthermore, in my second Halloween here, my costume was Fred Flintstone. While thinking about a name for Inforoo, this seemed appropriate.
After considering this for a while, I can safely say the first time I saw Radiohead live was the happiest moment of my life. Radiohead is my favorite band, I've been listening to them since 2000, and I never thought I would see them live as they don't come to that part of the world where I'm from, and whenever they do, they skip Istanbul. So when I moved to NYC five years ago, I patiently waited for them to drop a new album, and tour, and the moment I could score a ticket for their MSG show in 2016, I was super happy. (I ended up going to both MSG shows.) I got the ticket for the first night on the day of the show while I was refreshing Ticketmaster like a maniac, hoping to find one. Anyway, seeing them live was very important for me, and I couldn't stop grinning through the entirety of that show.
My fav restaurant is Jacob's Pickles, located in Upper West side of Manhattan. It's an amazing Southern eatery, focused on fried chicken biscuit sandwiches (and of course pickles). Their brunch is fantastic, too. If you go to NYC, I'd strongly recommend it. jacobs.picklehospitality.com/

My first and only time seeing Radiohead is one of my favorite concert memories. I went in only knowing the hits and was blown away. Listened to nothing but Radiohead for a whole month afterward. Glad to hear you had such an amazing time.
Would you rather every time you fart it sounds like a super loud whoopie cushion TV type fart and lasts a minimum of 3 seconds but doesn't smell like anything, or every time you fart it is silent but it smells like red bull and vodka?
If you had to live in a world where there is NO toast, or a world where there are NO biscuits (american terminology), which would you choose?
Why are you going to Turkey? I ask because I spent the first three years of my life there.
I'm from Turkey Will be taking some time off, staying with my parents after many (12, to be exact) years and clearing my mind for a while.
OMG! What, how, why did you spend your first three years there?
Air Force brat. Father was stationed there at the military base. I used to drag my blankee over to the window and join in afternoon prayers. It was the happening thing to do.
