Which voyage of Gulliver (from Gulliver's Travels) was your favorite and why?
Im not really familiar/remember all of them. Obvs, Lilliput was the first stop and all those tiny people make for a good story so that's what i really recall. and that gulliver was sentenced for peeing in the town to put out the fire was pretty funny.
Would you rather be:
A homunculus living in a super advanced culture. All of your needs would be met, but you would be a curiosity that others looked at and mocked much like an animal in a zoo, or a bird in a cage. OR
A giant among a very primitive culture, revered as a god. You would have freedom and minions, but be frustrated in trying to explain what you wanted.
Definitely the homunculus. I can not STAND trying to explain myself to people who don't "get it" in some way, so being a giant, and trying to find someone to just have an intelligent convo with would be awful.

really? I don't think you want her to come at you. She said purple is her favorite color though, so she's half tiger!
Sang has seen my SEC football watching heckling. He knows.
Also - lets clarify here on this whole "tiger" thing - LSU = NO WAY JOSE. Clemson = I guess so. They're ACC which doesn't matter, so I'm okay with Sang's comment.
Dave, when I made your DudeTu last year, my sister saw the felt "T" sitting on my coffee table, and she stopped, recoiled and pointed and said, "WHAT IS THAT DOING IN HERE?! GET IT OUT!"

We'll see what matters Aug. 31. It feels wrong talking junk to Mayo. But no, like she said I witnessed her rage during the UGA-FLA game, it wasn't pretty. Hopefully we get to go to that UGA-Clemson game together.

WE are DEFINITELY doing the UGA-Clemson game together. And Steph is coming too, and she's going to wear orange and cheer for tigers, but on the inside, in her heart of hearts, she'll be cheering for the Dawgs.

Football season is going to be ridiculous this year.
Edit: Also, you should catch me watching a UT game. Even at the end of Dooley's tenure when sh*t was over, I still got ridiculous.

No she won't! But if I have a 2nd team it's UGA. We have lots of common enemies. SC, GT, Auburn.

So I don't quite understand this thread. Do we just ask questions?
Yup! Just ask away.
If Mayo is still answering, what is your biggest Roo-gret? Missed show, didn't pace yourself, etc.
Good question. For realz. All that pops into my head is that I missed Passion Pit in 2009 (i think). Im a planner by nature, and Bonnaroo is really the only 5 days of the year that I let go of control (well, AFTER camp is set up, as my fellow campers would tell you. ) So really, I can't think of anything much because what happens happens when I'm there. ... I've pretty much always had an amazing time. '09 and '10 were kinda bummy years for me, so I was a little down for those Roos, but I still had FUN. I met JHo at my first brunch in '09 and thank God for her bringing me into the fold. OOOHHH - got one - I really really really wish I'd just busted my hump to be in the pit for Arcade Fire 2011, and Radiohead last year. I didn't and I had a brillant time at the time, but having seen both bands from the front in other arenas, I know I would have had a BETTER time had I just invested some time to get up there.
Edit: sorry if this was already asked and answered.

Five best things you've seen at Bonnaroo Five worst things you've seen at Bonnaroo
Both do not necessarily have to be what's on stage
Best: 1 - my brother "lost" his wallet at his first Bonnaroo for a whole day. No prob bro, I gots cash to feed you. Next morning, he locates the wallet, in the secret fold in his backpack that he's been carrying around ALL WEEKEND. The look on his face was priceless as he held it up aloft like excalibur. 2 - Pearl Jam's entire set in 2008, about 20 rows back in the pit. 3 - When the glittery glitter LED bombs flew down from the sky before Arcade Fire's set in 2011. 4 - double set involving junk: my brother (again) "Sister, where are the wipes? You know, the ones that sting?"...meaning he'd been using clorox wipes on his junk all weekend instead of the baby wipes. and double junk story 2: Friend observed me and another curvy campmate putting gold bond on our inner thighs before heading out to Centeroo, "Hey what's that for?", "Oh it just prevents the chaffing.", "Let me try it" I hand it over thinking he's gonna be putting it on his LEGS, but instead he holds open his front waistband and dumps MEDICATED GOLD BOND onto his man stuff. about 2 minutes later... "THAT SMARTS A LITTLE." 5 - Last year for the beginning of Barbara Ann with the Beach Boys, it was "planned" to strip down and do a naked flash mob...(did anyone else hear about that from their tollbooth guys???) and literally as the first notes of Barbara Ann come on, my friend is in his boxers and tearing around our grassy area at What with only ONE other person who's also in their boxers. ...No one else is taking their clothes off. No one. LAUGHED AND LAUGHED AND LAUGHED.
Worst: 1 - Really can go without saying but - Matt's passing in 2010. 2 - 2011, had a girl pass out next to me, on her stomach, mid-day. No friends around her. little bit of what I assumed was puke next to her face. And she was in a bad way. It just looked like she had overdone it a little, but as a Rooster, I could NOT allow her to just lay there, so we started like, dropper feeding her water, while my sis went and got the mobile medics. Just hate seeing people on their own at Roo when they're not in good shape. 3 - two words: painted penis. 4 - my first Roo was (The Real) Dustaroo '07. On the first day, while waiting in the cluster that used to be getting in under the Arch, we saw no less than 3 people go down in the heat, and mounties had to part the crowds to get them out. Again, just horrible to see people not able to care for themselves. 5 - I was having trouble thinking of a fifth thing - then i remembered finding my TENT SLASHED OPEN last year. That was pretty crappy. Nothing was taken, because nothing of real value was in my tent, but it was a total mood killer. Roo is my happy place, and that just like, ripped away the rose-colored glasses.

Did somebody already ask what's the worst thing you've ever put in your mouth? If not, what is the worst thing you've ever put in your mouth?
Hahahahaha, no no one has asked! I have had a weird meat jelly in Germany. They love their aspics and meat salads. UGH.
Since you mentioned event planning...If you could throw any kind of party, what would it be like and what would it be for? And would I be invited?
Any kind?! Money no option??? I'm going with that. I can throw lots of different parties - but the mood I'm in now is pretty lush, carnivale themed, bumping dance music party mood. soooooooo.... I would throw a post-Bonnaroo party so we could all keep on hanging out and not have to face the dreary trip home on Monday morning! I would have a giant air-conditioned tent out in one of the Pods. There would be free non-sulfur water showers and ladies dressing rooms and men's dressing rooms with lots of costuming and clean clothes and gLitter and makeup. And professional makeup people to do your hair and face. Lots of booths and small tables so peeps could sit somewhere and rest while they chilled. I'd def have a sweet dj spinning some edm-ish/cross-over stuff for dannnnnncing! Food would be little foods (no buffet up in here) made by Richard Blais from Top Chef. Booze would be open bar. Area for masseuses to rub down all the post-Roo aches. Theres so much detail that goes into party planning, I can't put it all in here. And DUH - you'd be VIP up in that piece lady!
What ice cream flavor would you be?
Chocolate. Everyone loves chocolate.
At what age did you become an adult?
good question. Im gonna go with... 28. I ignored adulthood for a long time. But in this instance, I consider being "adult" knowing that the world isn't perfect, I can't do it on my own, and it's not all ignorable - then 28.
What was the last movie, TV show, or book that made you cry?
Parenthood. That show is crazy good. But you will be interested to know that I watched The Notebook for the first time the other day, and I did not cry. I think because I knew what was going to happen. I was ready.
What are the 5 things that make you happy?
In no particular order: Dessert. Randy. Live Music. A finished project. An organized closet.
What are 3 things you would tell your 16 year old self, if you could?
Wow. Good one CKS. Don't be bothered with boys until you're 30. They don't know what they want anymore than you do, and you'll learn all the life lessons you need to on your own, without boys. Don't go to college just to "get a degree." Do what you love - keep dancing and choreographing. It eventually comes back into vogue, and you WILL get a job doing exactly what you love. Money sucks. Start saving now.
What are 3 things you would hope to be remembered for?
DANG GIRL! gettin' heavy on a wednesday morning! That I am a loving person who just wants everyone to be happy. That I am super fun to go to a show with, and I loved live music more than a lot of things. That I showed Christians can actually be intelligent, normal people.

So glad I'm not the only one! I've been told I have NO SOUL for not crying at that movie. I was watching the whole thing like "is this where I'm supposed to cry?" Haha. And Parenthood is emotional terrorism.

You're doing a great job with these, because I already think of all these things when I think of you
What's the best secret Santa gift you ever received?
WELL, this one year, I got a SWEET PANDA TANK that I plan on wearing to Roo this year, along with some neon paints that are for sure going to be on my face at Roo too
What is the earliest memory of your lifetime that you still remember?
I THINK I was about 3 or 4 years old, and I do specifically remember hanging out with my mom in the mornings watching sally jesse and donahue while eating scrambled eggs. Also, that once my dad told me "no" about something, and I walked off with my shoulders slumped like they do in cartoons - i remember thinking, this is what you do when you're disappointed. weird right?!
How did you put off being an adult until 28?
I think having your heart broken as an "adult" is even more traumatizing in some ways than when you're a kid, or it's your first love or whatever. Because as an adult, you understand the ramifications of "being alone", "not having enough time", "getting older", all those things that scare the poop out of people, etc. So when I was 28, I seemed to have this amazing future all laid out in front of me, (I paid my own bills, I maintained my own car, I went to the dentist regularly, I was essentially "adult") but it fell apart, and all of a sudden there is no more care-free attitude. Life is more REAL. There is no putting goals on the backburner, there is no more glossing over the fact that people can hurt you if you let them in, there is no more "floating through life". There was just this realization that I really can ONLY DEPEND ON MYSELF. That's pretty raw. So that's why I "chose" 28 as the adult point in my life. Had you asked me at age 23, I would have said 20. Had you asked me at age 26, I would have said 24. There are plenty of "big" instances in my life, but at this point, 28 has been the Big One.

I KNOW RIGHT. I mean, it's a great story. Where Nicolas Sparks is normally such a "so whater" writer. And watching Ryan Gosling ain't too shabby (btw, Crazy Stupid Love makes me love him even more), but it just wasn't that tear-jerker-y for me. ...Now when Artax dies in the Neverending Story?
