some huuuge hooks on the album. actually threw me off at first but an amazing album nonetheless
yes, great hooks. very catchy. but they do it without losing their artistic and experimental side. actually it's more experimental that anything they have ever done. it's all over the place. i love it.
I hated El Cielo, and Catch Without Arms was just one of those freak occurrences that a band would probably like to forget.
This on the other hand is a mixed bag in my opinion. While I love songs like "The Pariah" and "Ireland" I can't stand the "Stamp of origin" segues. I was sorely disappointed in their live at the Fillmore set, but this is a step in the right direction, I just feel that some of it could have been cut, it's overly long and gets a bit tiresome. Maybe it'll grow on me. we'll see.
