Superbeck said: but no use in debating it because disagreeing and offering input are not allowed on this board.
I would just like to interrupt for a second if I may to say that this is a completely false statement. We encourage your input but please understand that just because you offer input does not mean you get your way. Even with snide comments.

Okay, I hate to add to this crap, but that wasn't so much moderating as it was just calling Superbek (not Superbeck, by the way) out for making a disgruntled comment. I'm pretty sure she's not leading an uprising, and I don't really think that people are going to stop giving the mods input because of that comment. So, unless we really just are not supposed to say anything when we disagree with the powers that be, I don't understand what the point was in drawing attention to what she said in the first place.

Well I don't intend to distract from the game at hand, but all I know is that if I were a mod of a board and somebody posted that a specific filter was dumb but there was no point in bringing it up because opinions or suggestions aren't allowed, then I would feel a need to correct that person as well.
Now, if a thread was made in the proper place saying that the filter was dumb and that it should be changed then that would not require any additional attention other than addressing the issue at hand. That's just how I feel about it, and I sure do love throwing my 2c out around where it doesn't really belong

^^ well I originally tried to post it in an appropriate thread and that wasn't okay so then I was PMed by moderator and asked questions about the filter and there was no response from that one but I was jumped on by another mod who then made a mockery of me.
and then I make a comment about how my opinion doesn't matter but they were real quick respond to that!
pay special attention to how I tried to ignore danbird's response in this thread but I refuse to be bullied by the mods who NEVER post in this thread or play the game.
with that, this thread has been officially derailed and the towns people killed me. If you want to know anything else please PM me. power to the people.

The Vigilante has spoken..
Higgi was returning to his campsite, hauling a pair of freshly-purchased ice bags to restock the cooler. As he neared his campsite, he noticed a pair of strangers talking with his friends at the campsite. He cautiously drew closer. A glint off one of the strangers' chests was revealing. He noticed it was a six-pointed star.
It was Sheriff Joe Arpaio, the most notorious a-hole in all law enforcement, and a pair of deputies. Higgi knows what's up. He's wanted for a pair of DUI vehicular manslaughters in Maricopa County. He doesn't want to live in a desert tent wearing a pink jumpsuit. Higgi drops the ice bags and turns to run. Sheriff Joe notices him and trails him in hot pursuit. The chase winds around Centeroo. Higgi gets a decent lead on Sheriff Joe & his men at one point, but lost it when he stops for a few sweet snapshots of Merle Haggard. The chase runs out of Centeroo and back into the campgrounds.
Along the way, Higgi trips over some wooks trying to power their generator. One of the wooks spills a canister of gasoline all over Higgi, then asks if he's got any corn to share. Higgi keeps running, winding his way through the campsites.
In the meantime, the Inforoo brunch has gone into overtime. Boz is kneeling over a grill, striking a series of matches and cursing the wind. He doesn't notice the figure barreling towards him before it's too late. Higgi trips over Boz as Boz's latest match finally connects. Higgi bursts into flames before the group of Mimosa-toting amigos, turning into a blazing, screaming mess at everyone's feet...
...and he will repeat this feat at the 2009 Inforoo brunch.
The Mafia has spoken..
It was around high noon on Saturday and the sun was high in the sky. hippieNaustin was inebriated already and decided to find a patch of shade to crash in for a while. As she stumbled through Centeroo she wasn't paying any attention to where she was going. Out of the corner of her eye she saw a perfect spot in the lush green grass under a large tree. Blinded by her awesome find, she began walking straight for it.. She was so excited she completely missed the the golf cart coming from her right side, it was too late though, the cart was toting Ben Harper on his way to the stage, and left hippieNaustin for dead.
Also, I think we should go back to 11 player mafia games. I don't want to start a new game until that has been discussed, because I feel like 13 and 15 are getting out of control.
We also have an issue with players who aren't having any input in the game, therefore holding up the process of voting. How do we handle this? We've tried other ways.. such as a time limit, but I need a better solution.
Let's figure these things out before we start a new thread, please. :]

YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!! ;D nice death story for me btw
creep...i understand why you wouldn't want to swear on anything. but i think it would be a little unfair to take away a strategy because it's not something you would do. that's not an attack at all, so please don't take it that way. and i think i tried to make swearing on something pretty light-hearted...so did kdogg. we swore on cd's, flutes, and sex lives...not respective gods, family members, or holy books.
HGH...i'm not really sure how to FORCE people to participate, but i think if players have proven their inability to participate, they should either a) find someone to fill their spot and stop playing, or b) are made to sit out the next round.
