My 61st will slide in while I am at the Roo.......somehow through senendipity I won two guest passes. How could I and my beloved refuse? My daughters will be there some where out in that vast sea of tents......I am so stoked.
35 here. Spent years doing the Dead East Coast tours though. Selling beer and spring water on shakedown out of my VW (Fatty Sammy Smith Bombers Bro). Kind of lost track when Jerry died, still went to Phish shows, etc. But just wasn't the same for me. Last year when the dead got together I went to a few shows, and got dirty looks from the wookies when I pulled up in my Cadillac. Oh well. 1st Roo, can't wait!

44 years old here. First time at Bonnaroo. Went to the 25th Anniversary of Woodstock in 94. I'm meeting an old friend from high school, she is almost 43. We're both first timers. Should be a blast. Camping together, jamming, partying and catching up after all these years.
I'm 43, last year was my first 'roo. I had wanted to go for years but thought I might party myself to death! Not the case , had a great time with old and new friends both younger and older. Realized that Bonnaroo is more about the music than the party. I came home feeling better physically and mentally than I had in years. Can't wait for next week! I will be with a group of about 15, average age around 35.

I'm 51 this will be my first bonnaroo. My daughter is 23 and disliked the music that I made her listen to riding in the car (Tom Petty, Heart, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Red Hot chili peppers, Beastie Boys) just to name a few. Now she will introduce me to Bonnaroo and doesn't mind at all being with her 70's hippie mom. I attended a Mumford and Sons concert held on the lawn, best crowd to ever have been around. Know what you mean about feeling better.

Went to see George Strait once and vowed never again would I put myself through that atmosphere.

I'll be turning 34 while in Manchester this year. 6/14, I don't really care if someone thinks I'm old, just means I know how to have a good time, without being stupid. It also means I can laugh at the 20 somethings being stupid.
You're just too young to grasp how stylin' I really was. All the boys wanted to do me when I was 5. Actually the girls did too. My haircut was confusing.
This is priceless! I'm 41, and I sometimes refer to Bonnaroo, tongue firmly in cheek, as "The Bonnaroo" when I reference it to my wife. It's our "old timers" inside joke.

Yeah, I'm physically 43 but mentally about 25 (bad case of arrested development.) Sometimes I get a little self-conscious, perhaps unnecessarily, about hanging out here, on the TinyChat sessions, etc. But, Jesus, what's the alternative? I suppose I could go hang out with the Elks and smoke cigarettes at the bar and grouse about how everything was different back in the day, but everything was NOT different. Times change but people never do. So why not stay young if you can? Few things are more fun than hanging out with 100,000 like-minded souls for four or five days in the warm Tennessee sun while an excellent shared soundtrack beats along in the background. Stories from Bonnaroo are here and now, not way back when, and they're the ones I want to live in.
was 35 for my first roo last year. Def felt old. My neighbors were shocked when I told them I was 35, i think i have a few more years as passing as younger. I am hooked on going so I am back this year. The hippy kids sure have changed in the past 10 years. Going to fests in the late 90s was all dread locks and patchwork skirts. Electronic music has changed the look of the kids and they all know some girl named molly now. Still a blast but I miss the super kind ways of 90s hippies.
I was 34 at my first 'roo, and every few years I say, "It's such an endurance test I'm not going next year." Then December rolls around, I hop on here and the next thing you know I can't wait to get back to the farm.
49, finally breaking down and renting a camper. the ground and 10 am tent heat hurt the aged. great lineup, hope Jack White can show up. bringing son, he will be 17 with 4 or 5 of his friends. it is a wonderful thing to get so much music in such a short time. hope i can do it when i'm 65 (in honor of Sir Paul)
Hubby and I are 37 and our first Roo was in 2011. We are kicking ourselves on not finding it years ago before kids. Our kids are 6 and 8 and it's tough to get babysitters for that long. We definitely have more money now for fests and shows at this point in our lives but the logistics are harder for us. We've always loved music but I feel as our kids got out of the baby/toddler stages and things really settled down and we came into our own we started getting into music WAY more than we were and it's like it just dawned on us there is this whole festival world out there that we weren't really aware of because we were knee deep in diapers and that kind of thing. It would have been fun though when we were younger and in better shape going to these things. My husband has a pretty good job and will be able to retire at 55 after 30 yrs with a full pension and our house will be paid off too. Our kids will hopefully be gone when we are 50ish. We seriously have plans to just get and RV and travel the festival circuit. I dread getting older but that part of it really excites me.
I'm 49 and this will be my 4th 'Roo (09, 10, 11, 13). I eat, drink and sleep BONNAROO. will be attending with another 49 year old and hopefully my 22 year old Daughter and her Boyfriend. I just can't wait to be back on the Farm. Bonnaroooooo!

Wow, bdiddy, you & I could be the same person. All that applies to me as well. Well, everything but the retiring at 55 part. That probably won't happen, but that's ok. We started looking at campers last week & have made it our goal to get one within the next year or so.
