Does anybody know of a good way to bread chicken tenders? This has eluded me for years
I assume you'll be frying them? First make sure your oil is between 350-375 or your breading will be soggy and not stick well. I add corn starch at a 1 to 4 ratio with my flour. So 1 cup of flour gets 1/4 cup of corn starch. Add enough salt that when you taste the flour you can taste the salt. After that add some paprika, cracked black pepper, and a few good shakes of garlic powder.
I normally use an egg wash while breading. Beat a couple of eggs with about 1/4 cup of milk, or buttermilk if you have it. Dredge your chicken in your flour mixture, then in egg wash, then back in the flour. Let the chicken set about 5 mins before frying so the flour can set and start to make a crust. Don't poke around on the chicken while its frying, let it do its thing.
Gilled flank steak, portobello mushrooms, and onions. I'm using baby spinach instead of arugula, because arugula sucks. Amish blue cheese mixed with lite mayo. All on a toasted English muffin.

I drunkenly mad my porn ribs (country style) last night. @ day wet marinade of apple cider vinegar and a mustard/soy ginger blend. Started them in the oven at low temp while I watched football, ended them on the grill. With the marinade and juices on the pan from the oven, I made one of the best rues I ever made. It was almost like a spicy apple butter. Delicious.
Also I never thought how much corn can be elevated.

They key is to come up with something elaborate or that takes a long time to cook. Then start drinking. THEN start cooking. Then you're drunk when you are only halfway done cooking, and when it's done, it's dee-lish-us. It works especially well with low-and-slow meats and all the sides that go with it. and football. so...basically tailgating I guess.

This sounds like instructions for setting your house on fire.

And if I tried it that is exactly what would happen. Remember, I'm the girl who burnt ramen noodles.

YOU NAILED IT! I have come up with some of my best variations on what should have been simple recipes using this exact technique! I tend to forget things so I use the voice memo thing on my phone allot when I'm just winging it on alcohol infused intuition.
I have some amazing (probably only to me) voice memos of me rambling drunkin' improvised recipes.
Maybe I should do an audio book called "The Drunken Checf"
