Anyone ever been? This one is pretty close to Roo (in date) and is located in Enterprise Alabama. I wasn't so excited with the lineup for roo and the money...blah blah blah. So anyway wondering if anyone has any info on it. I think this is the 2nd year, last year Gov't Mule, Keller Williams and ZZ Top were on the lineup. Tickets are 150 for weekend and then small addition costs for camping.

I'm trying to go to this. I have friends in the area that are trying to hook me up with tickets. That's the only way I'll get to go is if I can score free tickets. I'd love to go to a smaller festival, a warm up for Bonnaroo. And the Jam acts that they've added are pretty good. I'm actually a little surprised no one is talking about this. It's got a lot of the jam bands that everyone goes crazy about.
Much love for Bama Jam! Last year was so much fun and my first experience with a smaller festie. Mule, Keller, YMSB, Old Crow, Ralph Stanley, ZZ Top... And not that i'm a huge fan, but Corey Smith put on a really fun set. Fun little fact, Enterprise is also located in a "Coffee County". I hope to be able to go again this year but that's really up in the air right now. ...Drive-By Truckers, Umph, Galactic, The Black Crows, G Love and SS, Robert Randolph, JJ Grey and MF, Charlie Daniels... Man that's a pretty strong suit for a little Alabama festival. It makes me really proud that the Southeast has 'Roo and BamaJam under it's belt
^They had them last year but from what I can find they're solely doing 3-day passes this year. $150 for the artists I mentioned alone is worth it to me. They should also have some more adds before June. I like the fact that they have something for everyone. And I also like the fact that it's still a really young event, so you can watch it come out of the shell and grow and whatnot. Plus there's a TON of Alabama locals there. I didn't even know there were that many Keller fans in Alabama until then.
Also, I really wouldn't mind seeing Taylor Swift...honestly. I like her.
Props. Me too. Have you noticed this? When people say they like country music, which I don't really, I usually tell them, "Oh yeah? I like Taylor Swift and Willie Nelson." Every single time they say, "Oh, yeah, I don't like them."
Cheeky, what was the camping/rv scene like last year? From the pictures I've seen looks a little more like Talladega than Roo, but nothing wrong with that. Got my tickets about a week ago and really looking forward to it.
I'd say 60% Dega to 40% festies. There were a lot of different folks running about and I found quite a few people that recognized me from 'Roo (I remembered a few of them ). I regret being a little too spunionated and not checking things out more because I didn't even look into the "arts" side of the festival. But yeah, if you're looking for the kind scene, you'll find 'em. If you're looking for Nascar scene, you'll definitely find them too.
I would like to come to this, but $150 is a little steep. do they do single-day passes or anything like that?

Looks like you got your wish...they just posted single day tickets for $69.50
That means there's only 69 1/2 reasons standing between you and Taylor Swift. j/k
I think 150 for the festie ticket is pretty fair, but an addition 150 for camping is the outrageous part. You pay 25 bucks for a gorgeous state park and you pay 150 to stay in a field??? Where's the sense in that.

Ok, so I write a little for Consequence of Sound, and I'm going to this for them. This will be my first festival as a writter for them though, so I don't know exactly what to expect.
Anybody else ever decide if they're going? I'd like to think I'm not the only one from here going to enjoy Taylor Swift, Robert Randolph, Glactic, the Black Crowes, and Umphrees.

Mobile. It was kinda crazy last year that there were a couple hundred people watching Mule play and about 80-90 thousand over at the country stage. So they said anyway. I couldn't believe how many people weren't watching Warren! Awesome set though.

Highlights so far include Grace Potter, who is AWESOME. The whole band's good, but she's amazing. A surprise appearance from George Jones, an incredible set/show by the Black Crowes, the entire Taylor Swift set, and me running into G Love at Wal-Mart while he was buying condoms.

On the opening day of the 3-day event, more than 75,000 fans passed through the gates—a phenomenal feat for a second-year event and on a Thursday night when attendance is expected to be its lowest.
It was definitely a fun time. This is a festie everyone should put on the radar for next year. I think all 74,500 people were at the country stage. Every time I went to the alternative stage you could watch the act from about 10 feet from the stage. The security was very polite and hospitable also.....wink wink.

^Agreed. You get to see some of your typical/favorite Bonnaroo type bands with a small crowd of around 200. And even at the country stage there were so many people sitting in chairs and spaced out that if you wanted to walk right up to the front you easily could.
