Does anyone else really want to see 'Seven Psychopaths'?
It has rave reviews on Metacritic and a 97% on rottentomatoes (out of 30 reviews). It's the director of In Bruges Martin McDonagh. And the cast looks awesome.
The playwright? Huh. Didnt realize he was directing movies. Well, he's quite prolific as a playwright and even though I'm not always on the same page with his work some of it is really fantastic and it's almost always controversial. I'm more interested now than I was 5 minutes ago.
Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs being re-released into theaters for one day in early December, and they're both coming here to Columbia... I never got to see either on the big screen, so I'm going to have to hit one of them up.
Yet it is in this loneliness that the deepest activities begin. It is here that you discover act without motion, labor that is profound repose, vision in obscurity, and, beyond all desire, a fulfillment whose limits extend to infinity.
~ Thomas Merton ~
I hate this time of year in film because the stuff that I want to see that I don't have time to starts really piling up. Right now, there are at least four films in theaters that I really want to see that I haven't just been able to find the time for:
Argo Looper Searching for Sugar Man Seven Psychopaths
I haven't, but really, really want to. It's still showing at our local art house theater, so it will probably be a little while before it's out on video. I can't find a release date for DVD/Blu-Ray.
ok probably going later tonight. we were going to check out looper, but i think that should be around a little longer than sugar man. will let you guys know!
ok i got distracted and missed the last showing of sugar man. i went to looper instead. i saw the panel at comic con so it was good to see the movie. i enjoyed it. personally i am pretty easy to please when it comes to being entertained by movies. it had scifi and action, i dig. haha

I found The Master a bit disappointing. Not a bad movie by any means, just didn't live up to my expectations and maybe I just didn't get what it was shooting for. I'll leave it at that. Rating - 4.824 (on a scale from 3-6)
