Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Frankly I was getting a little bored with all the press photos of artists, these are more interesting and they capture the Bonnaroo atmosphere. Great photos!

These are some of the nicest Bonnaroo photos I have seen yet.
I would rather see photos of the fans than the artists . People are the highlight for me anyway. Been to every Bonnaroo and probably have only seen maybe.......10-12 shows.
Jurassic 5, Liz Phair, Ozomatli, Burning Spear, De La Soul, Trachtenburg Family, Metallica, The Sword, Michael Franti/Spearhead, Police, maybe a couple more. I am more of a "World Music" fan anyway. I would be more music attentive at WOMAD.
I always have to work (on site) during the day and always miss the bands I want to see.

the yellow and orange balloons in picture #17 were our neighbors'. thank god for those balloons. they weren't there one day for a little bit and i circle the campgrounds for 20 minutes trying to find our site.
I just read the article that goes with these pics in the print edition. Unfortunately it was just like the one from our friend at the Gibson site; constantly obsessing about the medication that apparently was openly offered on every corner (when they weren't going all name-droppy). The pics are still cool, #9 is in a fold-out spread.
Too bad about the text, though. The focus on the illegals is really frustrating for me. I've been to five Roos and never had anybody offer to sell me anything. Then again, people probably think I'm a cop....
i just read the article in the magazine which i got in the mail this week. i would actually say my main problem with the article was the lack of diversity shown. the oldest person they featured was 26, everyone else like 19, 21. i think older generations (aka my mom)who didn't know much about it, would think it was more legit (aka not just for youngins) if they showed some of the more "mature" crowd too.

Some of those pictures seemed staged, like people were "modeling" in the middle of the crowd or something...especially some of the overly-done hipsters. I didn't see a lot of people who looked like that!
You know what, I did notice that the people photographed were a pretty specific group and even a minority at Roo where there is so much diversity of age and "scene". But I still think the photos are really beautiful. And I mean... there are a lot of stories to tell from Roo, and while the photojournalist's (and I'm assuming the reporter's) angle was pretty narrow, I still think it was a great portrait of that category of Roo-goers and the photos still convey a lot about Roo that is all-encompassing. I love the series I really want to get the issue to read the story, but I hope it isn't too disappointing. I think the issue will still be a nice keepsake.
also who knows how many photos the photographer took over the weekend, these could have been what they thought were the best/most interesting for the gallery
i went to bonnaroo last year with my friend rebecca+boyfriend and friend in photo #1, theyre also on the contents page of rolling stone (photo #2), its crazy!
I always was hesitant to be called a hippie as it has a negative vibe to it where I live, but I embrace the hell out of it since I started going to 'Roo.
Those pics brought a tear to my eye and a joy to my heart. I am already dreamin' of next year.
