2007 will be my second, and I might have the same apprehension as I sense from KidA. Radiohead being my favorite band, and their set at BRoo 2006 being the best show I've ever seen, I'm nervous that was the main reason it was such a great time. I don't think it was, but I'm still a little nervous that 2007 won't live up to my sky-high expectations. (With Flaming Lips, Wilco, The White Stripes, and The Decemberists, I am pretty sure it will rock me again, but still . . . a little nervous.)

yeah, last year when i heard the line up its like the planets alligned for me and i had to go to bonnaroo.
while i'm not near as excited about the music as i was last year, i'm more excited just to take part in the festival itself.

666 it's the mark of the beast!
Seriously though...I had planned on making last year my last one, figured a nice round 5, but I just couldn't do it. I still think 2005 was my favorite, here's hoping this year tops it.

^add prmus and the votla and it might. though its hard to top the dead. damn i wish i went in 05
The Dead weren't there in 2005. Headliners were Dave Matthews Band, and two nights of WSP.
It wasn't the headliners that made the show, though...that lineup was just stacked. I'd argue it had the best late night lineup of any Bonnaroo thus far:
the Mars Volta Galactic STS9 Karl Denson's Tiny Universe Secret Machines Trey Perceptionists/RJD2/De La Soul
Totally sick the whole way around. The regular lineup wasn't too shabby either: MMJ, Umphrey's, Yonder, Jurassic 5, Modest Mouse, Iron & Wine, Rilo Kiley, Ozomatli, Toots, Herbie Hanfleshy banana, Jack Johson, Kings of Leon, the Duo, Particle...just SICK.
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**
4th one. Had to miss last year because I had to take summer courses to graduate, and this one girl in my shakespeare class had been absent since wednesday, she shows up to class on monday sun burned as hell, looking extremely tired. I heard her feeding our professor some nonsense about a family emergency, and that was when I saw her wristband and started privately cracking up. Having to watch the webcast last year was physically painful not being there, hopefully never again.
Will be my first time. Have friends that have gone in past years. My excitement has actually turned other people into fanatics, talk about it daily I cant wait to experience what Ive been missing out on all these years.

Well, 2007 will be number 2, but damn, do I wish I went in '05...or all the other years. So that being said 2006 got me hooked and I'm definitely definitely counting the days till June.
Number 5 for me. I missed last year because my wife had to have surgery at the last minute (Wed before B-roo.) I hated missing last year as there were some awesome bands. I think #2 was my favorite. Great shows and still undiscovered; mostly hippies, Deadheats, Phish-heads, etc. What amazed me most was as we left there was absolutely no trash in our entire campsite. Everyone had cleaned up and recyled EVERY piece of trash. I'd Love to see that again.
