Sigur Ros--I would like to give a hearty F you to the lady who stole my rail spot after I had been waiting there for an hour. She tried to act like she was handicapped and going into the handicapped access spot. When I moved to let her by, she nabbed my spot! She refused to move even after explaining to her how long I've been waiting there. Whore.
i couldn't believe how many people were on the rail 6 hours early!
i was on the rail for every single band that played That Stage on saturday.... just a little bit to the left but had a perfect view.... i was so shocked that i wasn't able to move to the very center after zappa played
my gf didn't like being so close for mastadon, but she didn't mind it so much when she could actually see everything going on during sigur ros
1. MIA -was the most amazing crazy dance party ever!!!!
2. MMJ -utterly amazing. They melted my face completely off, I loved every second! p.s.-they can control the weather with their music.
3. Jack Johnson - so mellow, but still rocked my face off, especially when he did the ZEP cover!
4. Metallica - So intense. They rocked Bonnaroo to the max. Their set was so awesome!
5. B.B. King -The man is a legend and his show blew me away!! Plus, he was damn funny.
6. Back Door Slam 7. Stephen Marley 8. Tiesto 9. Mastodon 10. the entire Coup/Lupe/Talib/Chali 2na late night [it was basically one huge concert for me]
The Raconteurs - We may not have gotten Zeppelin... but these guys came REAL close.
Gogol Bordello - I thought my expectations were too high for these guys. Turned out that I underestimated them complately. I thought it was gonna be good... just not this good. Fantastic.
Sigur Ros - All I can say is... Svefn g englar followed by Vaka... Wow
Ben Folds - The impromptu song about Bonnaroo, retired B's aint S (which I have on video from the crowd and will upload to youtube asap), plus I got to say hi to his drummer out in front of the stage before the show. Great setlists as well.
Kanye West - Im the only person on inforoo that had a blast @ Kanye and thought the show was worth waiting for, I guess. Im sure I'll get negative karma for it.

1. Robert Plant and Alison Krauss 2. Mastodon - would have been #1 if their set hadn't been so short. We need more Mastodon next year! 3. Pearl Jam 4. Sigur Ros 5. Superjam/Gogol Bordello - tied for obvious reasons 6. Willie Nelson 7. Disco Biscuits

1. The Swell Season- whoever made the comment about the sheer emotion in that show really nailed it on the head-- after that encore performance, many people around me were in tears.
2. Ghostland Observatory- holeeeeeee cow.... i was on the front row for this one, waited three hours for it... worth every second. they proved beyond a shadow of a doubt why they are my favorite band.
3. Gogol Bordello- never heard of these guys before the show, kind of stumbled over after being underwhelmed by Cat Power, and holy cow!! these guys were absolutely insane!! every time i start telling people about bonnaroo, they're one of the first bands that come to mind.
4. Jack Johnson- I just love Jack, and him playing as the sun was setting will be burned into my memory forever. Loved him using Jimi's wa-wa pedal.
5. Chromeo- this one also really surprised me. I wasn't that big on them before this weekend, but they gave a heck of a fun show, and dave 'conducting' the crowds roars up and down was ione of my favorite moments of the weekend.
honorable mentions go to Money Mark, even though he played a really short show, he was very likeable and fun to listen to, and also Tegan and Sara, who I'd never heard of yet they hypnotized me into watching their whole show... good stuff.
My Morning Jacket - 4 Hour set - Incredible energy. When it started pouring and One Big Holiday was in fully swing jam it was nuts. Everybody at once threw up glowsticks and partying hard. I can't say that the set list was better then 2006 but the atmosphere was.
Pearl Jam - 3 Hour set - Though I was about 15 rows back and crammed like a sardine for the greatest band on earth (IMO), it was still the best PJ show I have been to ta'date (tho Detriot 06 was about a tie). Hearing 60K people screaming the lyrics to the songs was awesome. Them playing Love Reign O'er Me, All-Night, WMA, Hard to Imagine, and No More made me an extremely excited PJ fanatic. Enough Said...
Racounters - 1.5 Hrs - Was amazing. Carolina Drama was beautiful.
8.5 hrs of bliss!!!!
Honerable mentions - BB King, Jack Johnson, Minus the Bear, and Yonder Mountain.
THe Disco Biscuits - the guys put together a dream set list, and happily jammed into the wee hours of the morning. The 3 frontmen were tight vocally, creative with the intro and outro jams, were relaxed can well within their comfort zonez - fully embracing the spirit of Bonnaroo > even going as far as telling personal stories within the set - and a spectacular cover of "Killing in the Name Of" taboot. Encore of Mulberries Dream. Couldn't have been more perfect.
Colonel Claypool - The man was electric, and he surprisingly brought a superb guitarist with him to Bonnaroo - i really didn't expect this and it was a sweet unexpected treat. The setlist was outstanding at the band snugly jammed out every song. The weather was perfect for the time slot, with grey clouds and a wonderful breeze that was blowing around the red velvet drapes that line the Which Stage. One complaint though, the "decision makers" of Superfly Productions denied the Colonel an encore. ??? Dude, the man was on fvcking FIRE You can't do that to the man who just got done bantering about his "Thirteenth Bonnaroo" and who was actually really feeling it and trying to embrace the spirit of Bonnaroo. This would actually be the first of a few realy really dumb calls on the AC Productions behalf..
Pearl Jam - Again, the band really embraced what Bonnaroo is all about. Eddie was extra animated - telling stories and having a lot of fun - and he sounded great. The band was tight, as usual. "Crazy Mary" was outstanding. The guys at Camp Superfly decided Vedder was sounding so great, that they would even allow him to play a song with Kanye West!!! For some reason though, Eddie didn't want to??!? ???
WideSpread - So glad JJ didn't close the damn thang. Widespread was great. Ragin ass glowstick war to the left of the stage all night. I had a wonderful time. A new spreadhead in fact. The jam with RR was sick.
Ghostland - they've stepped up their lightshow by like, ten fold...or something. Can i have my retinas and my cornea's back. Please?
Jose Gonzalez - Fabulous way to start Friday. the fountain started right as we were walking past it, and it was much needed as it was pretty hot.
UM - the dude's threw down a sick ass daytime show. Couldn't find allyroo though </3

My best Roo moment (music-wise) is kind of a surprise. It happened while I was half-asleep in my tent.
I left My Morning Jacket about an hour and a half into their set. I'm a huge fun, but I has ridiculously tired, wet, cold and I'm gonna see them at Red Rocks. I stayed until the very last possible moment. Dondante happens to be my favorite MMJ song and at the point in the song when the guitar starts wailing and Jim James belts "You had me worried!!! So worried!!!..." I woke up and sat up in my tent in awe of what I was hearing. I had a huge smile on my face. It sounded perfect and I could imagine the atmosphere with the rain and everything. I stayed up to hear Run Thru and fell back asleep. So my favorite Roo song......was heard from my tent

4 hours of MMJ in the rain. I had a great spot front and center. When they finished, there were far fewer people. I guess most left after the break due to downpour? High energy throughout.
Colonel Claypool - The man was electric, and he surprisingly brought a superb guitarist with him to Bonnaroo - i really didn't expect this and it was a sweet unexpected treat. Unfortunately, that's something we have to deal with during daytime shows. Mastodon got the same thing, after raging through every minute of their alloted time, the crowd wouldn't leave and was chanting MAS-TO-DON! MAS-TO-DON! all the way in the back of the crowd. They'd have gladly played another hour if they could have.
The three reasons I came from Colorado MMJ, Levon Helm and The Avetts. I had very very high expectations and they all three effing delivered to no end.
I was surprised how much The Raconteurs rocked it out. How awesome were they?!?!?! incredible.

This was easily my favorite Bonnaroo. Did not see a single lackluster show.
Top 5 (minus headliners - Pearl Jam and Metallica were both outstanding - best headlining sets in years - maybe two most solid ever)
1. Zappa Plays Zappa - One of the best shows I've ever seen - Dweezil needs to get a lot more respect from the music community at large because he tore it down.
2. The Swell Season - Yea. I'm saying it. The two kids who made Once brought me to tears during their version of "Into the Mystic." I would pay $200 to see them live again.
3. My Morning Jacket - Absolutely phenomenal as usual. Only comment - wish it wouldn't have rained. That rain was COLD.
4. Sigur Ros - Surprised the hell out of me. Religious.
5. Jack Johnson - What a perfect set.
6. Chris Rock - "America, STOP F UCKING MY HUSBAND!"
Honorable Mentions: The Avett Brothers, Drive By Truckers, MGMT, Rilo Kiley
