I would thoroughly enjoy seeing Kanye's reaction if someone walked up to him on stage right as a show ended and handed him a report card with a B+ on it
ill say it. KANYE SUCKS!!!!! truthfully i dont know a single note of any kanye song. cant even name a single song. so i cant say that he sucks.... but he does damnit! im sure of it! the only reason i know of him is because he says dumb shit all the time like hes important or something. just another millionaire whining about nothing.
and ill say it again... this douche has no business being on that formerly magical farm. not that it matters at this point.
who knows?? maybe we will get lucky and kanye and lars will hold a discussion group at roo and solve all of the worlds problems. they seem to know whats best for everyone.
kanye west reminds me of lauren hill. just racist bitches with little to no talent always running their mouth to show how uneducated they are. ill bet they are buddies. although i do agree with him that bush sucks. but bush hates poor people. i dont think he gives 2 shits if they are white or black.
damn its painful to see kanye plastered all over roo and inforoo. what a disgrace. this diversity has done wonders for that good ol' bonnaroo spirit. atleast kanye gets it
(i just had to throw out a pointless and negative post. its what i do.) ;D
I'm loving the report card/scorecard idea!! Of course I feel quite sure that if he were to notice them he would stop the show, go on a tirade and leave. Then you'd have thousands of Kanye fans super pissed at you. Also, you'd have to attend his show.
I think people just need to realize that Kanye, in all likelihood, is just going through the "too much cocaine" phase of his career.
Or the "My mother, the only person who loved me unconditionally and sacrificed a lot much for me, died because I'm successful enough to give her money for new bewbs and a new tight tummy - so I'm to blame for her death." phase???
who knows?? maybe we will get lucky and kanye and lars will hold a discussion group at roo and solve all of the worlds problems. they seem to know whats best for everyone.
From your lips, to God's ears.

on a serious note...i do appreciate kanye's music, only because hes one of the few mainstream mcs/producers that make anything remotely close to real hip hop. i think he is a step in the right direction to getting rid of all the crap that gets put out...a very small step though.
I take this is proof that Kanye really just doest NOT give a d@mn what the media or critics think about him or his music. I can respect that, esp. considering it's that same rebellious "screw the institution" mindset that brought about such musical change in the 60s and 70s.
Yea he comes across as vain and slightly deluded as to his OWN self importance, but that could be said for a lot of bands/musicians.
"We're no longer called Sonic Death Monkey. We're on the verge of becoming Kathleen Turner Overdrive, but just for tonight, we are Barry Jive and his Uptown Five. "

I could care less either way.......I definitelly agree that there are plenty of artists who are vain and a little too self involved but to me his rant just seemed like a spoiled pouty little kid.....I'm not denying there are plenty of artists like that though... Ijust think if he wanted to say "screw you" to the media he might have won a little bit more respect by not being a baby about a bad grade......
And the scorecard idea made me lol for real....although in the end I would feel bad if it was actually done....don't know why...but I would
