Hey guys, I am having trouble finding some live Sigur Ros and was curious if any of you fine folks have some live sets of these guys? I am getting pretty excited for these guys and just started listening to them so I want to hear how they sound live. Thanks and karma for whoever posts some.
"That's the big thing about education. People can be book smart, but not really intelligent about anything else. A lot of times they just taking in all this information and regurgitate it. It's much more important to process it and personalize it. To apply it to your world, to your life. You have to walk the walk, or you can't really report about it honestly."
I'm on to volume 3, but here are the first two for those of you that weren't paying attention.
Chick's Picks Volume 1 1. Shell It Out - Scarecrow Collection 2. Low Sun - Pete Francis 3. The Boat Song - Ryan Montbleau 4. Lady Loop - ALO 5. Greenhouse - New Monsoon 6. Easy Jane - The Bridge 7. Lost me from track one...I can't get down with Matisyahu...I went to high school with him...he threw a golf ball at our economics teacher in 12th grade and let me take the blame...ass.

Sigur Ros has some live stuff for download on their official website. That's all I can find for now. I would also be interested in some whole live Sigur Ros shows.
I swear though, at one point there was a website.. I thought it was part of their official site.. that had nearly every show they had ever played for download through a system of folders and mp3s... really wish I could find it for you. I'll keep looking though!

I heard about this show.... I mean, Interstellar Overdrive... come on!!!!!
Pearl jam dropped off the radar a while back for me... but i am very excited to hear this, happy to catch up between now and roo... though they don't mangle the floyd, do they? please tell me they don't...
just thought I'd give a heads up to people looking for phish shows to check out phishows.com where over 400 shows are available for stream or download. fucking killer.

I don't know how to describe this band. They are complete unknowns but are absolutely amazing. They come from Grand Marais, MN in the beautiful North Shore of Lake Superior and a friend of mine originally from that area turned me on to them. They call themselves Hip-Hop/Americana/Roots Music. It's like poetic organic hip-hop with banjos and harmonicas. I consider it my duty to show it to people. Download or I will smite theeeeeeee!

My wife was in Hawaii visiting her family (shes hawaiian) when U2 and Pearl Jam had this show. The couple that was staying in the connecting cabana offered her a free ticket and a ride to the show and she turned it down.....WHAT !!!!! Yup, she didnt go.
When I asked her why she didnt, she said cause, 1, I wasnt there with her, and 2 she couldnt leave her mother alone that night....
Sheeat...no offense sweetie, but I would have gone without you, and i wuld have left my mother alone......Does that make me a bad person, or an extremely intelligent person??? I dont know, but I damn sure would have been at the Pearl Jam/U2 show!
