It's a little festival in Amherst, MA. People gather in the town square and smoke and celebrate and drop knowledge about marijuana. There's music, speakers, and vendors. Also, Amherst is a pretty sweet place in general.

I'm going to blame it on having too much free time to troll dave while at work. also, the single/mingle thread helped me get a lot of posts. it's been a good run so far
YAY! Headed to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park tomorrow for a 3 day, 22.1 Mile Hike!
I did that last spring. So jealous.
I hit newfound gap, Charlie's bunion, pecks corner and down to smokemont last summer. This weekend we're going to the east end of the park to Cosby campground, Cosby knob, my cramamer fire tower and davenport gap.
That's amazing. I did Gabe's Mountain trail last spring. It was my first real multi-day hike. Loved every second of it. I'm going to try to get back on the trail in August when I have a few weeks before my job starts.
On the flipside, it has finally started cooling down these past few days, praise be to Vishnu. Last summer was more brutal, but this was the summer that just wouldn't end. To put this in perspective, we had a 100F day six months ago, and 80F days all last week.
I've never been so happy for a weeklong forecast for drizzle (not that forecasts mean much here, but I'll still take it).

First time poster in here just to say after 4 long years from age 16 I FINALLY PAID OFF MY CAR! It's so cool to have the title in my hands and actually own something that you worked so hard to pay off!
I JUST BOUGHT MACCA TICKETS TO THE LOUISVILLE & PITTSBURGH SHOWS!
LOWER BOWL FOR PITT....
AND FLOOR SEATS FOR LOUISVILLE MUTHA FUCKASSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!

edit: ok it's been 10mins now and I'm starting to reflect on how much money I just spent on these two concerts... I'm really way to impulsive sometimes.
18 more days left of my engineering internship!!!! It's been a great & rewarding experience but I'm at the point now where I just want to be done with it.
Then a summer full of fun trips including Gatlinburg with my girlfriend's family, Las Vegas for my 21st, and last but certainly not least...my FIRST Bonnarooooooooooooo

I'm kinda feeling the same way about the Ryan Adams (aka Newport Folk Friday pass) and Fleetwood Mac tickets I got over the weekend. I been good lately, but just went pretty impulsive there.
When I went to see McCartney, it was the upper deck of Yankee Stadium behind home plate... might as well have been ants on the stage out in center field. But it was well worth it.
Yay to finally feeling more human. I've slept the majority of 18 hours due to this virus/food poisoning/motion sickness (not sure which) but I woke up feeling a lot better. A small yay, I know, but I'll take it. I don't deal with being sick very well.
