i wanted something vaguely amusing and corn related, and my friends and i went out to a team trivia nite where another team's name was "i ride the short bus" and it just occured to me. I used to be SanityIsOvrRated for a long long time, including on this forum way back in '03/'04 when inforoo was just born, but i forgot my password to that one

i think this was the first message board that i ever signed up for (other than my fantasy football league). when i first signed up it was because i was going to go to bonnaroo for the first time (i 2006) and my main motivation was to see Oysterhead play because i was a HUGE fan. so being a "head" for Oysterhead was the first thing i could think of.
btw, REAL NAMES SUCK!! screen names are so much better.
nola New Orleans, LouisianA (LA is the abbreviation for Louisiana) in New Orleans, nola is a common abbreviation for the city. I love my city and everything it stands for. it was sort of an easy decision for me. it's commonly used I think, but I do not care. I'm about to get a Fleur-de-lis tattoo, a symbol of the city of New Orleans as well and the New Orleans Saints. ^^That's what I plan to get a tattoo of. I'm not sure where I am gonna get it yet, but I've kinda been thinking on my ankle. Does anyone have any suggestions on where I should get it? Any info is nice, possible pain and other things like that I would be very interested in.

I'm not positive, as I have no tattoos myself... but one of my friends is a body-art enthusiast and I vaguely remember him saying that the more fat on the area the less pain involved. So, judging by that... a place such as the ankle probably would be more painful than other places on the body
honestly, that's why I'm asking. I asked a friend of mine what she thought of me getting a fleur-de-lis on my ankle and she told me that it was really "90's". I was rolling on the floor when she said that. How the hell can a tattoo be 90's? Anyway, I kinda figured it would be painful, but at the same time, I'm not talking on the ball of the ankle, I mean about 3-4 inches above the middle of the ball of your ankle. Kinda confusing, I know but you get the idea

i'm not sure what you mean by the ball of the ankle, the bone on the side that sticks out? I have 5 tattoos total, 2 are ankle tattoos. One of them is an indian style anklet that goes all the way around, and one is a roo-inspired tattoo that is just over and around the "ball?" of my left ankle, on the outside. My two other friends have the same roo tattoo, one in the same place, and one a few inches above the ball. The roo tattoo hurt in the parts that were directly over the bone, but my friend who had hers higher up said that it hurt less than her shouler tattoo. The tattoo on my right ankle hurt the most because of the part on the back, right over the achilles tendon. Tattoos are awesome, artwork for life!
