Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo in 2013!!
Dude, someone made an album over that T shirt image! I'm wearing that shirt right now. (I'd like to think these don't exist around here, but some people mayn't know what that is... and that's just unfortunate, if they'll never find out.)
Welp...this is what they just sent me. Sucks but something tells me not to give up on this entirely.
I say film first, ask questions later. You could always put something together and then invite them to watch it after the fact and if they like what they see then perhaps they'd be willing to iron out legal details, marketing plans, etc. I'd love to be one of your filming subjects! Not sure what you're looking for but if I fit the bill then we can talk
I Like the way you think, Amber! Met up with me at the fest and we'll definitely talk about getting you in there
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

You know those great discoveries you find hidden in festival lineup's? Ya. That just happened. I won't compare every twangy female artist to Neko but in this case .. Wow. Color me impressed. Think Neko Case with Jeff Buckley-esque melancholy being backed by The Dirty Three. That's a good starting point.
With the last Modeselektor album dropping a year ago and them playing very little for it on the east coast, I'd say that it very well could happen. I'm with dave, all 3 please.
garageland, you saw that Mount Moriah is doing basically their entire discography at Hopscotch, right? Also, I always took "alt-country" to mean "country that is ok to like without looking like a redneck".
That was the slogan for the great No Depression magazine. In my opinion, one of the greatest music publications to ever hit shelves.
Night Beds is apparently playing Fletchers that day, too. Great night. Great night.

My thoughts at the moment are that I have 10 days off work, in which I will get all my final prep completed for Bonnaroo ( and pray my shipments come in on time). After these 10 days, I work 15 days of 12 hour shifts. The 16th day I fly to Nashville.
Can anyone inform me of decent whiskey/run/vodka I will be able to purchace in Nashville that comes in a plastic bottle? So I know what to look for.
You can either buy in a plastic bottle or use your own. You're not getting anything high quality in plastic, but it's Bonnaroo, not the Kentucky Derby.
For vodka, there's Smirnoff, Country Club. Heck, since I always mix, I just buy 100 proof Taaka. Bang for my buck.
For whiskey/bourbon, there's Evan Williams green label which is pretty decent. The best you'll find in plastic is Jim Beam.
For rum, they make Sailor Jerry in plastic and it's pretty awesome spiced rum.

During show volunteers also got this in the email:
As During-Show volunteers, you may have been noticing some of the schedules showing up on your accounts. Or you may not have a schedule yet. We're still very much working on them. To be 100% transparent, we're discovering that we're still overstaffed on several C'roos and are asking that if you're willing to switch to Tollbooths or Parking, it would really help us out. Remember that Parking volunteers are done by Friday and so are the majority of Tollbooth volunteers.
I asked to be switched from Access to Parking and they changed me over right away. Anyone else know much about what parking vols do? Also when they say "finished by Friday night" do they mean by Friday night or like Friday at 12am? Basically, am I going to make it to Paul?

This is a perfect example of what's great about music today. Major artists like Kanye, Daft Punk, Radiohead, etc are finding new and different ways to hype and release their new music on their own terms. It's pretty unbelievable.
The song sounds good to me but I have no idea how he would perform this on SNL. A solid 1/3 of it is not fit for public television.

I'm hoping for some of the fellas from MMJ. In fact I fully expect Patrick Hallahan to show face for this. Can't imagine him missing a moment like this.
Some MMJ and Hall and Oates songs would be great too. I'm pulling for a rendition of "She's Gone."
