What about having stuff on the roof of your vehicle? I think I read somewhere that everything needs to be covered? Is that true? As in, I plan on having my EZUp, in its bag, strapped to my roof rack. Does that also need a tarp over it?.... or is it OK to just have it strapped to the rack? Then to take that a step further, my camp kitchen is in a big milk crate type thing. Is a cargo net enough of a cover? Or would that need a tarp?
