Super Bowl prop bets are sooo stupid. By that I don't mean "Ray Rice will get more than 95 rushing & receiving yards," because that stuff is fairly predictable.
I'm talking about people betting on the coin toss, that is -115 odds for either bet, which is literally a tax on the stupid. No matter who wins, the betting will be relatively split down the middle and the house rakes in cash.
If you make a couple $5 bets, no big deal, but I have friends who legitimately throw $50 down on bets like this and it's just hilarious watching them freak out and curse at the TV because some guy didn't call "tails."
So, I take you want in on this?
Correct, props bets are a waste of your money. Step of to the wheel and pick "red" or "black", but this is different. I make a list of about 30-40 prop bets, there are 2 -3 choices for each bet. Most are over/under bets (well, more like questions) and each answer is worth points. Player with most points at the end wins. Last year we did this and the prize was a Roo GA ticket. It is a way for people, who do not care which team loses, a way to enjoy not watching the Dolphins in the Super Bowl, again.
