My mom gave me a 2.5 pound thing of ground lean turkey. I have a short shift at Cheese tonight then it's chili making time! I make mine SUPER healthy stuffing all sorts of veggies (carrots, zuccs, mushies) inside. Each bite ends up being at least 1/2 veg. And I don't add anything fatty or high in calorie to it besides beans sometimes. And there is 8,000 japs and tops of other spicy spices in it. Nom nom nom.
I'll leave some of the meat out and use it for a small meatloaf or meatballs or something. I'll also freeze at least half of the chili in single size portions to take out and defrost as I please.
