Also heads up, Neil wasn’t allowing the venue to sell any of the typical mass market beers like Bud Light or Model. Everyone had to drink the “local” option which in DC was some 9% hazy IPA I’d never heard of a Devil’s Backbone (owned by InBev). And beer sales were done by 930 but that may have been unrelated.

The Franklin show was one of my favorite shows ever. If you're on the fence about going to this, pull the trigger. They are dialed in and loving it. Just an unreal experience.

Neil cancelled a show in Dallas because it rained the night before.

Anyway, the ribs at the Two Anchors tavern in Old Town were quite delicious and also I got the pleasure of hearing two crazy British guys order multiple shots of sambuca, triple sec, and Tabasco sauce. Highly recommended!
